The farm house is beautiful! The owners Eileen and Galen are the perfect hosts! Each room is beautifully decorated with a warm welcoming feeling! Eileen and her staff put out a delicious breakfast each morning. Eileen welcomes you into her home likes it's your own. Galen takes the children on tractor rides, pony rides, he is great with the kids!... More

Staying here was one of the best vacations my family has had in a while. We had never stayed at a working farm before and were certainly curious when deciding to stay here. First I must say the farm is beautiful. It is very old and in excellent shape. You feel comfortable as soon as you set foot inside the... More

We has a wonderful time at the farm. There were tons of things to do in the farm and honestly they feed you so much at breakfast you don't have to eat another meal all day long! (And we're eaters!) From feeding the calves to seeing a kitten being born to hayrides and hen house visits, the kids really got... More

This was our 4th annual trip to Rocky Acres. Starting a month ago, our 4 kids start asking when are we going to a Rocky Acres? They like Feeding the newborn cows Looking for eggs Riding Gavin's many handmade toys - the oil barrel train, platform ride attached to the 3 point hitch of a John Deere 630 The hayride... More

My kids love this place. From the kittens to the outdoor playtime to getting eggs from the chickens, the couldn't be happier. I, on the othe hand, was blown away by the animal poop stink immediately upon arrival. Yeah, I know it's a farm, but I'm a suburban guy, and it's a bit much for me.

A group of parents and teenagers ( aged 13 and 14 ) just returned from Rocky Acre Farm where we stayed over the Memorial day Weekend and it was great. The kids were having so much fun that they voted against Hershey in favor of hanging out at the farm and kayaking .( and it is hard to get a... More

We booked Rocky Acre Farm for some family getaway based on the good reviews. We really enjoyed our stay there. It's been a week since we came back but our 4 year old daughter is asking every single day to go back there... She enjoyed feeding the calves, the train rides and the overall farm experience. Our room was very... More

Based on fine reviews, I booked the Rocky Acre Farm for our B&B stay in Lancaster County. A great choice! Like some of the other reviewers, we arrived around 6 p.m. and no one was available to check us in. There was, however, a guest who pointed out that there was a note for us on the door. It was... Our family of 4 stayed here (for the 1st time) for 3 nights in the middle of October. We have stayed at two other farm B&Bs before. This is by far our favorite. It's a real working farm. Unpretentious, warm & just fun. Our children are young (3 & 6) & they didn't want to leave. We stayed in the... More

Had a wonderful time, but read all reviews to know what to really expect. Only a few minor things could have improved our impression. Overall we enjoyed our stay. We had never stayed in a B&B before (only hotels) so it was a new experience for us. Since you’re staying in someone’s home we weren’t sure how much interaction with... More
