This place was great! The kids woke up at around 7am to feed the calves, pick the eggs from the hen house, feed the lambs. It was a good time to go because all the calves were being born (12 in the 3 days we were there). Our room, the Meadow View Room, seemed to be the smallest (ok for... more

We stayed at Rocky Acre for 3 nights last summer, and we loved it so much we are going back this year for a whole week! This is a real-deal working dairy farm, where our kids just loved seeing all that goes on at the farm. The farmer takes the kids for pony and tractor rides every day after breakfast,... more

We visited Rocky Acre Farms for just one night. I wish we could have stayed a few more. Our 5 year old son absolutely LOVED it. He got to feed the baby lamb, look for eggs in the henhouse, feed the baby calf, milk the cow, ride the pony, ride the train and go on a hayride (I'm probably forgetting... more

It has been awhile 1 year 4 months since we were at Rocky Acre, but I thought I would mention that it was one of the highlights of our USA trip. We arrived after being in Las Vegas, Washington DC, New york ect so driving up the windy road and seeing the beautiful blue house with shutters was just wonderful!... more

Absolutely wonderful vacation! This was my 5th year at the farm...It has been awhile since I visited years ago with my sister and her children, and now our 3 year old could not wait to go to "The Farm" that we have all talked so much about! I don't want to spread the word too much, because it is already... more

Yes, it really is as good as the other reviews suggest. The accommodation was extremely comfortable, the breakfasts were fantastic, the fam activities for the kids were a revelation, the scenery outstanding. Every need of a young family was met. Wouldnt recommend if you have a cat allergy. more

We stayed at Rocky Acre this past week for four days in the Guest House and we can't wait to go back! My three kids (6, 3, and 18 months) all had a wonderful time. They were SO excited about the idea of staying on a farm and helping in the chores - they talked about it for weeks ahead... more

This bed and breakfast is absolutely fantastic! We have been coming here every summer since 1997 and there is no place that we'd rather be. We have 4 kids; now ages 6 through 15; and every one of them has a wonderful time at Rocky Acre. This is hands down THE most anticipated vacation of the year for us. There... more

We just came home from another perfect vacation at Rocky Acre Farm. It's hard to pinpoint what exactly makes this place so great. Maybe it's the cool breeze that always seems to blow across the expansive front porch as you rock away stress while watching your kids run around the farm. Maybe it's because everyone is so contented after the... more

We chose Rocky Acre for our weekend family trip to Lancaster County after spending two previous visits at impersonal hotels. With 4- and 5-year olds, the farm was the perfect landing spot for us between jaunts to Dutch Wonderland (awesome amusement park for families with young children), miniature golf and sightseeing/shopping in the area. The B&B is quite casual, with... more
