My family and I have been coming here for the last 6 years and we never get tired of the farm. To start Eileen & Galin are the best host's you could ask for. Everything in all of the previous reviews is all true. The kids will have a great time with all of the animals and the parents will... more

Ok, I wrote a lenghty review and it disappeared. Anyway, what is important? Leave the blackberries and the cell phones at home, bring the kids, grandma and gramps... and have a fabulous, relaxing time at a beautiful farmstead with 2 very experienced hosts and hearty breakfasts each morning!! We loved: waking up to coffee/tea (begins at 7am), the kids LOVED... more

We stayed here in late April with our 2 year old girl in the 2 bed apartment. The apartment is quite spacious, very clean and nicely decorated. The main reason for staying are the activities offered to children being collecting eggs, watching the cows being milked or helping to milk them, going on hay rides, borrowing one of the large... more

My wife and I along with our two daughters (age 6 & 4) stayed her in later April '09. We all loved this place. Upon arrival i the later afternoon we found a note on the front door stating that nobody was available at the time and where our room could be found. As we walked into the room, it... more

My family just completed a weekend stay at Rocky Acre and it is truly a great place with a little something for everyone. Eileen and her staff make a breakfast every morning that could feed and army in terms of quantity, but the quality of making everything from scratch is apparent in the taste. We had the Farmers Suite and... more

I booked three rooms for 10 people for a celebration in early December. Our group included my husband, our kids (7, 9); another family with kids (also 7, 9) and my parents. The children had a wonderful, wonderful time - visiting the chickens and the cows, riding around in the golf cart, and most of all playing with the dozens... more

You cannot get a better place than Rocky Acre - it is so reasonably priced and welcoming. Galen, Eileen and the staff are wonderful. Breakfast is outstanding - Eileen delights in treating the guests to a multi-course extravaganza. I marvel that she does not seem to tire of feeding 30-40 hungry, busy guests every day. There's lots to do in... more

We spent a long weekend here, and loved it. We spent a day touring the area, and my 3-year-old daughter just wanted to go back to the farm. It's a beautiful place. Great breakfast. We will be back. more

This place was great! The kids woke up at around 7am to feed the calves, pick the eggs from the hen house, feed the lambs. It was a good time to go because all the calves were being born (12 in the 3 days we were there). Our room, the Meadow View Room, seemed to be the smallest (ok for... more
