Positives • Venue is absolutely beautiful. I fell in love with it immediately. • Original coordinator was informative and easily reachable with questions. • Allowed us to book 3 years in advance (2012 booking with wedding in September 2015) with contracted price (10% food increase). • Reasonable deposit and payment periods. • Agreeable to planning meetings pre-wedding. • Staff made... I can't begin to express how fabulous this venue is! From our very first visit to book the venue to the final moments of our reception....every single thing was perfect. Dakota and Randy were so patient and accommodating and made sure that all of our requests were taken care of in a quick and friendly manner. They went out of... More

The rooms are small and hot and around 3 am there was a horrible sewage smell that lasted for hours, my son got married there and they have regretted it, we stayed for 2 nights and I could not wait to go home. The place is on beautiful property and it's a cool building but to stay there again I... More

Do not be fooled by the beauty! They will do everything they can to get every dollar you own! You are unable to have a wedding without keeping a card on file. After the wedding, give it about 1 month and you will be hit with $1500 bill for "overlooked" items. After paying 25,000 for alcohol and food. Guests can... More

Thank you for taking the time to provide us a review and for your compliment on the beauty of our venue. Unfortunately most of what is written here is untrue. It is ludicrous to believe every person on our staff they came in contact with was rude to them. The comment about $200 for a table for their pastor is... More

We went for a wedding, and coming from out of state, booked a room for the night. The room was lovely and worthy of an Architectural Digest write up. Lovely to look at; not perfect as far as a room to be super comfortable in. It had a lovely armorie that could not be used (sign saying "Don't open, could... More

Joan, thank you for your review on your stay in room 21 on Halloween, it helps us learn what is important to those who stay as guests of a wedding. Just to note, an empty armoire has a tendency to fall forward when the heavy mirrored door is opened and since the room has a full closet the armoire is... More

When my boyfriend and I got to the Inn we were warmly welcomed. We wandered around the building checking out all the unoccupied rooms, which are left open for your viewing pleasure. Every room has interesting antique pieces and is nicely decorated. Our room was one of the cheaper rooms, therefor it was expected when we got there that ours... More

There is no denying, the Cameron Estate Inn from a pure ambiance and beauty/history is excellent. The room we had on the second floor was spectacular but that is where the nice experience ends, I assure you. We arrived the beginning of October for a nice fall weekend to experience the Lancaster countryside. That all worked well and when we... More

So, I didn't even stayed at this place, but this is my experience. I travel a lot, and by a lot I mean monthly. I hate to leave negatives reviews, but this place just had to get one. My friend is getting married there, so I called and made a reservation. My first impression was that they were very COLD... More

We reserved the entire Inn for our wedding party and parents for after our wedding reception. The process of assigning the rooms went very smoothly and our guests were all very impressed with their rooms. We had breakfast together in the morning which was excellent. The staff members were very friendly and professional. We would definitely go back to stay... More

The setting is lovely, and our group of 20 enjoyed their overnight accommodations and their informal conversations in the parlor and other nooks around the Inn. We needed to be off early in the morning, and breakfast was served promptly and graciously so we could be on our way on time.
