We wanted to get away for weekend and did not want to drive to far from home, so we decided to go to Monroeville and shopped around found good price at Days Inn Monroeville, pa. Front Desk was very friendly and she gave us room at second floor had new mattress and carpet. We did not go too far to... more
This hotel is on verge of collaspe. It is ridden with dirty sheets and the stench in and around this hotel can only be simple said as foul. There are certain standards you need to consider when your on a budget like me. This hotel did not meet any. TV remote didn't work. asked for another one never came.I was... more
This was an interesting place to say the least. It looks well kept from the outside, but that was where it ended. Our room smelled like cat pee, it was horrible. The bathroom tub is way high up, my older parents didn't dare take a shower for fear they would fall getting out. The bottom of the shower curtain had... more
OK...the good news is the room was clean, air conditioner worked. Now, the room is basic to be sure. The tub is interesting. The bottom of the tub is about 4" above the floor. Even thought there is a warning label, stepping out of the tub is precarious. Especally because there is no non-slip strips in the tub. I challenge... more
The bed was comfortable and the front desk staff were nice. That's where the good part ends. The room was "surface" clean, but there was mould on the ceiling in the bathroom, the bathroom fan was dirty and loud, and the toilet barely flushed. It took considerable effort to turn on the sink faucet, which was disintegrating in places. The... more
It was a snowy thurs. night at 1 a.m.and needed a place to sleep and wait for the snow to stop. Pulled off the turnpike for a room and didn't feel like paying $130 at 1 a.m. at the upscale local places. So we drove up to the Days Inn. First impression was not the greatest. Had to stand in... more
Stayed here on business trip thankfully for just 1 night. I dont know why days inn`s allows dumps like this to be in their chain, speaking of chains im suprised they did not have them to keep people from leaving. Rude staff. Dirty bathrooms, smelly rooms & lots of garbage broken bottles etc around the hotel. I will pay the... more
We stayed for just a night at this property and happy that it was just one night. Though the room was comfortable, the place is shady. The lobby is locked at night, and there is the night window where you have to do all the transactions. The management is bad and the staff are rude. WE had a room with... more
I stayed at this Days Inn with my brother and cousin when visiting Pittsburgh in July of 2004. The room wasn't bad, the bathroom was a little on the dirty side, and the "continental breakfast" was nothing to get excited about consisting of Coffee, Apple Juice, and a box of Muffins. The price was right, I guess thats all we... more
