I travel frequently for work, and have shied away from Holiday Inns over the years. The company I was visiting arranged a corporate rate with this facility. It was older, but remodeled. It was comfortable, clean, and the staff was excellent. We even ate at the restaurant and it was really good. The only improvement that I would suggest would... more

We just returned from a two night stay at this Holiday Inn. We were visiting the University of Pitt and Duquesne with our daughter. This was a great value and just far enough away. The hotel staff was great and extremely helpful, we had a morning appt at the University of Pitt and Pam at the front desk was very... more

we stayed here for one night for a wedding. we live locally but wanted to stay so we did not have to worry about driving after indulging in a few alcoholic beverages. the staff was incompetent. i checked in, got my key, and went to my room. my key did not work. i returned to the desk. got a new... more

My husband and I were attending a friends wedding. The reception was being held at this hotel. We booked our room a month in advance. On the day of the wedding, we arrived just after the check-in time to be told that our room would not be ready for another hour as a clean room was not available at the... more

For a corporate rate of $85, I received a great value. My experience at other Holiday Inns was mixed, so I was pleasantly surprised that this older property was in tip top shape with completely new furniture, bed and decor. The King-size bed was firm, the room was big, and there were a lot of extra freebies - coupons for... more

I stayed at this hotel several times while on business and recommend it if you need to stay in this part of Pittsburgh. The rooms are nice and the staff is very courteous and responsive. There is a PA turnpike toll plaza very close so ask for an inside room if you are sensitive to noise at night. more

We stayed at this hotel in early Sept. 07 and had no trouble at all. I was a bit afraid after some bad reviews here, but on hotwire you have to take what you get, right?! Okay, this really is an aged building with outdated carpets, interior and so on. Also the bathroom was very small for 2 persons, even... more

I booked this room thru Hotwire and was suprised that it was a decent deal for the price. The rooms were clean and comfortable - overall a good experience. The pool is outdoors, so beware in seasons other than summer. I would recommend it for travelling thru town - easy access the PA Turnpike and I-376 take you easily downtown... more

First they give a room with a bed slightly larger than single, even though we were a couple. The room was stinking of smoke. On complaining the manager came and put tons of febreeze in the air. The mattress had stiff springs you could feel on your butt. The room was size of dorm room. The bathroom floor had dirty... more
