This old building has been converted to a hotel. The woodwork is fantastic, the room I stayed in, not so great. It was wheelchair accessible via stair lift. The bathroom did have bars for toilet, but a step into shower. The decorations were old and unique. The price was right- under $100 for a double. Would I stay here again?... More

Stayed 1 nite during cycle trip from DC to Pitts. NIce quiet large room, with a comfortable bed. Had clean shower and bathroom and included a continental breakfast next morning....just a few blocks from trail...would consider staying again.

Ate here after our first day biking the GAP. We met a fellow traveler who was staying here (we stayed elsewhere in Meyersdale). The food was good and reasonably priced - I ordered an extra helping of mac and cheese it was that good...drinks were also reasonable. They usually have music on Friday nights and unfortunately they did not the... More

Dinner was a disappointment. The chicken breast was overcooked and the crab topping wasn't very crabby. The service was excellent. It's been a year since we were last there, probably be at least as long unless we hear of a change in chef's.

Stark, mildew smelling rooms in this old building. No TV or amenities in the rooms but a community room with a TV. When my wife checked out the community room she came back to say a mouse or rat had darted across the floor. When I went back there was the mouse sitting in the middle of the room looking... More

My wife and I stayed at the Morguen Toole Company in Meyersdale, PA on the 26th of June on the last day of our 6 day bike ride on the Great Allegheny Passage. After 4 nights of camping along the trail we were ready for a hot shower, a clean bathroom, a great meal and a soft comfortable bed. We... More

We just spent a night at Morguen Toole Company Hotel in Meyersdale, Pa. It is located a few blocks from the bike trail and very convenient after a long day of bike riding. Each room in this hotel is uniquely decorated with items that were found in this old building when it was purchased and renovated a few years ago.... More

The suite was lovely but: we were uncomfortably hot all night and the portable air conditioner did not work (when we turned it on it made a loud screeching noise). Food and clothing from previous guests had been left in the room. The coffee bar had not been resupplied.

We love going to the Morguen Toole! We're going back for our third visit and I can't wait. The atmosphere is wonderful and the staff are so helpful. It's so interesting to stay in a older establishment - the decor and designs are one of a kind. The food is great, the beer cold and rooms spacious. I especially like... More

Every time we have friends from out of town this place is a must see. The decor is so original. Food is great and staff is super friendly. I recommend anything with the crab dip on it!!! A great variety of beer on tap too. Best place to see local entertainment as well. I can't say enough about this place.... More
