My wife and I got married at the Mercersburg Inn the weekend of April 4-6. Every room at the Inn was beautiful and had its own unique touch, and there were enough rooms to fit close family members, friends, and wedding party who could spend the entire weekend. The Innkeepers owner, Jim and Lisa, are absolutely awesome and were very... More

We visited the Mercersburg Inn in central Pennsylvania during one of the worst winters we have experienced in years. A Napa wine dinner and tastings sounded like a great way to celebrate a personal occasion together. The dinner and wine were wonderful, the hosts charming, the Inn very turn of the century elegant. But we were c-o-l-d. Houses this size... More

We really enjoyed a nice ski weekend here at the Inn. The romantic retreat room was just that. With no tv in the room, I may have been a little freaked at first, but enjoyed the alternative - romance! The gas fireplace makes the room super toasty and the clawfoot jacuzzi tub was so relaxing! The restaurant was high quality... More

My husband and I were looking for a "no drama-one stop shop" for our wedding anniversary/vow renewal this year. We chose the Mercersbug Inn. We live in the Baltimore/Washington DC area, so it was a little more than 2 hours from us. We had a fabulous dinner the first night at the restaurant inside the Inn then we played pool... More

A magical evening was shared with eclectic and charismatic guests that began with an outstanding 5 course French Dinner, good wine and interesting conversation followed by dancing and a wonderful night's sleep in a comfortable, clean and absolutely charming room. The next morning included a delightful three course breakfast and a convenient later check out. Jim and Lisa, the Innkeepers... More

First, I must state that I can only a partial review as I have not stayed over night. However, I have SEEN the rooms and can comment on them but I cannot comment on the comfort of the beds or the cost of the room per night. What I CAN comment on, however, is the restaurant. I have eaten there... More

I apologize that you had anything but the best experience at the Inn. You are absolutely correct about the soda refills. The server should not charge for soda refills. I have re-informed the waitstaff on that policy. Hopefully you will visit us again. When you do please remind us, when you make the reservation, of the problem you had so... More

At least a dozen or more alums reserved almost the entire Inn for a major reunion of doctors, lawyers, judges, CPAs, business executives, etc. . We paid for almost all the rooms for the weekend (and in some cases, longer) a cocktail party and a large dinner there as well. One of the owners of the Inn was incredibly inhospitable... More

We have been the lodging site for these reunions for 10 years. The actual reunion is held away from our Inn at a school. We have never had anything but good feedback from the participants. I actually had many compliments at checkout from the guests for the weekend in question. We even received a phone call from one of them... More

What a beautiful house! Built in 1910, this 22,000 sq. ft. home will take you back in time whether in your bedroom or in any of the common rooms. We stayed in room #1, the largest room, which boasted a king sized bed, a balcony, a gas fireplace, a love seat, a chaise lounge, and a desk! The bathroom was... More

When we started our search for a small romantic wedding location in Pennsylvania, we were bombarded with choices. However, soon after an initial telephone conversation with the Innkeeper Jim and being able to “view” the inn via the virtual tour, we decided to host our venue at this wonderful inn. The inn provided everything as described in their elopement package... More
