I was only staying for one night on a layover, but my whole experience was great overall. The man at the front desk was quick yet personable, the room was clean with no problems. We only ventured out to go to the dennys next door and the service there was exceptional as well. The shuttle the next morning left on... more

I'm a graduate student from out of state who needed to do research at Swarthmore U. for a couple of days. I asked the fellow in charge of the archive for a suggestion as to where I could stay, and he mentioned the McIntosh Inn in Media (which it turns out is now the Express Inn). I looked it up... more

Stayed here one night while attending a nearby wedding. Unfortunately didn't find out until that day that there was a block of rooms for the wedding at the nearby Concordville Inn - could have stayed there for about the same price. Wish we had. When I entered the reception office, the man behind the desk was in the midst of... more

This 3-story motel is perfect for overnight or a short stay. It is located across from a small mall and many eating establishments with a Denny's directly in front. The rooms are average sized with a small bath. Ice, drinks, and snacks are available from vending machines on the premises. No bells and whistles, but this is an Inn and... more

We just stayed at this hotel for one night and should have chosen another. I knew things would not go smoothly when we entered the room and found the bathtub dirty with hair in it. We called the front desk to have them clean it, which they reluctantly did. Upon waking and taking a shower the next morning my family... more

This is a perfectly adequate motel. Check in was uneventful. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable. Nice extras include micro/fridge, free wifi, continental breakfast. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again. It's not a resort--it's convenient lodging while traveling. more

This hotel is horribly managed. I stayed here for a Saturday night after a wedding. A block of rooms (almost the entire hotel) was reserved by the bride and groom for friends and family. We checked out the next day and when I reviewed my bank statement, I had an additional charge of $100 on my card. I called the... more

The first time I stayed here it was okay...kind of pedestrian but tolerable. The second time, I was alarmed by people banging on the door next to mine and yelling, "you must open the door"...it was the management trying to get into the room next to mine! It was so loud and scary, I thought it was my room at... more

Read horrible reviews. Had stayed there before and thought it must have gone down. Actually it was upgraded since I stayed and it was great. Clean room, new refrig and microwave. Staff at desk was very helpful. Not a single problem. I'll definately stay again. more

I started looking for a hotel in this area months ago and noticed the negative reviews in your ratings, so opted not to book with MacIntosh. However, as luck would have it, the hotel I had reservations with had a serious water problem when we arrived after a 7-1/2 hour drive, so we could only get a room at the... more
