Barbara, Ed, and Flash were welcoming and attentive to us making certain that we knew the history of their home, how they renovated and created a lovely and comfortable B&B. Barbara smiled the entire time she showed us the appointments of each room and elaborated as we asked for more detail. The room is lovely and reminiscent of years gone... More

First bed and breakfast experience for me and it was great. Beautiful, historic, building and decorated rooms. Upon check in Barb gave us a mini tour of the home including its history. The hot tub was wonderful, rooms very clean and roomy, and breakfasts delicious. I added the chocolate covered strawberries (which were from Edible Arrangements and delicious) and the... More

We have been to many B&Bs and this one is up there with the best. Barb was very friendly and knowledgeable about the rich history of the 1790 structure and area. It is loaded with period items and thoughtful touches such as small flashlights and chocolates in the rooms, motion-sensitive lights on the stairs, and menus for nearby restaurants. The... More

The innkeepers, Barb & Ed, are cordial but do not engage their guests in social conversation. They have compiled a reference/rule book of both their B&B and area restaurants(5) that is accessible in the common area and in each room for all to read and know while staying there. We booked the entire place for a car show and had... More

We are sorry your stay was disappointing. I wish you had said something to us while you were here about your concerns After seeing the nice comments in our guest log, we were shocked at the review. We are not perfect and you can always find things to complain about. We have no idea what you are even talking about... More

The married couple were so welcoming and friendly. Also helpful with directions, though it's always a good idea to have a GPS, which I didn't. There are 3 rooms to stay in there. We chose the Lafayette with it's own bathroom. Plush, white terry bathrobes are provided. Breakfast is served individually daily (8:00, 8:30 or 9:00) No menu/not a buffet.... More

My wife and I stayed at this excellent B&B in Mechanicsburg Pa. The room was set as a beautiful period peace with modern comforts, of course. And our breakfast was relaxing and delicious. Will return. Thanks so much.

My husband and I stayed this weekend at this charming B & B. We enjoyed it very much. The owners were friendly without being overbearing. We received a tour and history lesson (they are retired teachers) when we arrived. Barb is adorable and a gracious host. As many others said, the baked oatmeal was excellent. I will attempt to make... More

My friend and I, on a girl's weekend away, thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We were greeted by the resident welsh terrier, Flash, and owner, Barb. I love early American history, so it was so nice to get a tour and hear the history of the B&B. It is beautifully decorated with antiques from the period. I so enjoyed spending... More

My daughter and I stayed here on our way to Delaware to move her into a new apartment. Barb (the owner) is so wonderful and kind. She is very knowledgable on the history of the house and there are plenty of books and other resources on the house's history if that is what you are interested in. The rooms are... More

A perfect stay, the hosts have thought of everything to make the visitor's stay comfortable. The colonial period house has been thoughtfully renovated and my room and bath were spacious. The whirlpool tub made for a delightful bath. The innkeeper, Barbara, attended to all of my needs and her cooking was delicious. I plan to try her recipe for baked... More
