I grew up in the Mechanicsburg and Grantham area. I always wanted to see this building. My girlfriend and I stayed overnight and it was wonderful! We stayed in the smaller room which was perfect 😊 The hosts were very pleasant and knowledgeable. The history of the building and interior decorations were right on. The breakfast was amazing!

My fiancée and I couldn't have been happier with our stay at Colonial Crossroads. We loved the decor and atmosphere and were impressed with the colonial building. The innkeepers and their dog, Flash, were hospitable and made us feel welcome throughout our stay. Everything in our room was clean and orderly. Breakfast was excellent, and we were able to eat... The antiques and historical feel of the bed and breakfast was nice. However, the rooms are not very private, and the bathtub was covered in dirt when we got there. We ordered flowers and chocolate covered strawberries, and the strawberries were soggy. The bed was creaky, and breakfast was average at best. The worst part is that they apparently put... More

I'm sorry you didn't enjoy your stay with us. I know you are upset about having to pay for the old jar we had on the table, but you ARE responsible for your actions in our home. The jar is on a small antique table about THREE feet from the shower. It has been there for over 4 years and... More

Beautiful, clean & comfortable room. We liked having the heater with "flames" to get the fall chill out. Chocolates in the room is a nice touch! We enjoyed their specialty breakfasts, esp the baked oatmeal-we left with the recipe! Great hosts!

This was our third time staying at the Colonial Crossroads B&B and we will definitely be coming back. The inn is decorated with period antiques so you get the feel of the past but still have the modern conveniences. Barb & Ed have researched the history of the inn and will give you a tour and tell you its fascinating... More

Ed and Barb were great hosts for our visit. The Inn had a grand history and charm. The 1700's built Inn is filled with period style antiques and adornments. "Flash" the dog was friendly too! We loved the area and will definitely stay at Colonial Crossroad B&B again.

I stayed here a total of 6 nights - 4 nights in the Pennsylvania room and 2 nights in the Lafayette room. Absolutely enjoyed the location, history, decor, hospitality and charm of this B&B. I enjoyed the very healthy and delicious breakfast prepared by Barb every morning. I had to tell her to cut the portions as they were too... More

What a wonderful bed and breakfast. Ed and Barb were the nicest people. The rooms are so large and clean. The bathrooms were huge with all the modern conveniences. The B & B was built in 1790 and has all the old world charm with sitting room, huge hearth, and antiques all around. The breakfasts were delightful and hearty. They... More

Very nice setting, home, and owners. The bed was a bit high and hard to get into, but the room was beautiful with a wonderful bathroom, tv and fireplace. Very comfortable. Breakfast was very tasty with plenty to eat. Need a separate pot for heating water for tea - water from coffee maker tasted like coffee.

This was the first time we had stayed at the B&B, but it was recommended by our friends who had stayed during your first year of business. We did arrive in the middle of a power outage, and understandably everyone seemed very upset and a bit disorganized. I have to admit, we were a little thrown also, because the thought... More

Again, as I told your friend, who already wrote a review, we wish you had shared concerns with us while you were here. We are really sorry you did not find your stay to your liking. We try to provide our guests a charming place to stay, an old tavern with worn floors and rooms that are not always the... More
