Great place for a group of friends. Stayed there a few weeks ago. My first time at a B&B, I was totally blown away. The breakfast was magnificent. The location was great, eating estab. within walking distance. Super close to the faire. Relaxed, comfortable and inviting common room. I totally loved the house, Bed was super comfortable. Big plus was private... More

This was my first visit--came with some friends who have been coming sometimes multiple times a year, and I've heard nothing but great things. Laureen and Todd have set the bar very high...I don't know that I'll ever enjoy another b&b as much. Ok, maybe that's an exaggeration, but I've never experienced this level of service at this price point.... More

Thank you so much, Caren, for your very complimentary and interesting review. You covered all the points that people might be curious about and intrigued them so that they might want to come visit! What a great advertisement for us - you all were fun guests to have at Manheim Manor. P.S. Loved your cherry wine! More

What a lovely gem! The inn is beautifully decorated with Victorian furnishings, and the rooms are spotless and very comfortable. Innkeepers Todd and Laurene could not have been more welcoming and friendly. There's a lovely bar with wine, soft drinks and appetizers in the late afternoon and cookies, snacks, coffee etc. in the evening. But the best thing (food wise)... More

We stayed here a couple weekends ago. My main reason for picking the place was because it's so close to the Renfaire (and also due to the Tripadvisor reviews). The Renaissance Faire is right up route North 72, I think roughly 2 miles (or less) away. The place itself is nice, as are the hosts. Menus and brochures are in... More

My significant other and I stayed in the Emeralds and Evergreen Room the last weekend in August after a day at the PA Renaissance Faire, just as we did five years ago. The house has everything you could want at a B&B (or everything I could want, and I'm extremely high-maintenance): Victorian furnishings, a pretty lawn, private bathrooms, even a... More

Beautiful home...lovely couple! I highly recommend the scones (thank you again Todd!) So happy we stayed here for our anniversary get-away. The rooms were very clean and they supplied everything you may need. Afternoon wine and snacks were very nice to come back to before dinner. Breakfasts were phenomenal. Will definitely be back in the fall!

What a great weekend! Todd (aka as Scott to me) and Laureen are gracious hosts and so accommodating. The breakfasts were wonderful ... Every morning we were created to fresh "breakfast desserts" that were sooo very good; the French Toast was the best we ever had with homemade syrup...the spinach and goat cheese quiche was ridiculously good! The house was... More

Todd's French toast was amazing!! The room was spotless!! It was difficult choosing between the front porch and the shaded deck as the perfect place to have my coffee and wine. Laureen's collections of tea cups and tea cozies were so original and fun.

For the same price as a local hotel, we got a beautiful room, wonderful food and hosts who speak English. I would so much rather give my money to a local business over a chain. It was immaculately clean, the bed was comfortable and the hosts were out to please. This will be the stay of choice if we return... More

Attended a wedding at The Booking House this past weekend. Stayed at Manheim Manor, which is blocks away. Todd and Laureen were very accomodating. The home is beautiful, the rooms are clean and the bed was comfortable. Would definitely recommend staying here; as Todd and Laureen were wonderful in opening their home to us. Their hospitatlity was inmeasurable!!! And the... More
