A great place to stay for exploring Lancaster County. I spent 3 nights midweek escaping the hustle and bustle of travelling around NYC and Philadelphia at this quiet and comfortable B&B. Elaine serves up a delicious and satisfying breakfast each morning that was enough to keep me going for most of the days looking around the surrounding area more

We booked Country Comforts B&B for 2 nights for my husband myself and my 2 boys, my only regret is that I wish we had booked for longer. The kids loved this place, and din't want to leave to go anywhere, they loved the animals, and loved helping Elaine feed the animals and gather eggsfrom the hen house. Speaking of... more

John and Elaine are wonderful hosts with hearts and arms open. I have been there twice, once with my sister and once with my husband. Some friends recommended this bed and breakfast and we fell in love with it. It's not fancy, but very comfortable and relaxing. It is also very affordable and the huge breakfasts are incredible. Warning -... more

Elaine & John are wonderful hosts. I stayed for only one night on a business trip to Landisville, PA. My only regret is that I couldn't stay longer. The rooms were cozy, the breakfast was great, and the country farm atmosphere was a nice getaway from city life. more

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Jonde Lane Farm. Elaine and John are courteous hosts. We stayed in the hen house room, which was ample for two adults and two kids. The facilities, including the bathroom, were well-maintained. Breakfast was excellent - wholesome and healthy. Elaine provided us information on a few local restaurants for dinner, which had great... more

Elaine was such a wonderful hostess. From not knowing too much about the Mennonites, Elaine answered our questions and helped us to understand the difference between Mennonites and Amish. She also had great recommendations regarding where to go for an authentic Amish buggy ride and other sites in Lancaster. She is very organized and knowledgable about the area. And the... more

My family and I recently returned from our second trip to Jonde Lane Farm, was was actually our third attempted trip. Notice I said third attempted, because on one vacation they were completely booked. And there's good reason for that. Jonde Lane Farm is owened and run by John and Elaine Nissley, a Mennonite couple with several children, and a... more

We just returned from 5 days at the Jonde Lane Farm and it was fantastic! Just visiting the area was wonderful but to have such great accommodations on top of it made the trip the best we have had. We have 2 girls, 5 and 10 years old. Mr. and Mrs. Nissley are wonderful people and hosts. Each morning we... more

We have just returned from a long weekend stay at Jonde Lane Farms, and I am writing this review to encourage others to give this farm stay bed and breakfast a try. Elaine our hostess was very personable and helped to make our stay very enjoyable. Our room (Holstein Haven) was clean and comfortable. The other guests we met were... more
