I remember when the Desmond was brand new...it was the highlight of the area - a beautiful property, excellent staff - with Mike Chain, Sr. in charge, and the deck was the hotspot of the area. Many business meetings and hospitality industry events were standing room only at the Desmond. Since those good 'ol days, when the Desmond's "heartbeat" was... More

Dear Kristen, I am so sorry for your recent stay, you certainly experienced a storm of issues, none of which should happen and all are preventable. My words obviously wont change your impression of our property, perhaps you will consider returning. Our events and outdoor dining are still quite busy, the evening of your stay the outdoor restaurant isn't open,... More

We stayed here for a wedding. The hotel itself was fairly nice. The complaint-for a hotel of this stature the only thing in the room was a coffee pot. There was no microwave and no refrigerator. When asked for additional towels was told by maid didn't have any bath towels but would get some. I had to go out later... More

We booked this hotel at the last minute on the way to drop our daughter at summer camp. My husband and I have travelled extensively for business as well as pleasure and are pretty discerning. What a find this hotel is! It is obviously built to accommodate large business conferences (and I am sure they do a fantastic job) but... More

After a long day providing audio support services at the 2015 Bryn Mawr Hound Show, one of the oldest hound shows in the country drawing 35 to 45 exhibiting packs, and showing more than 500 hounds in 6 rings this hotel was a welcome oasis that provided a extremely comfortable room, good food and drinks. The staff was friendly, attentive,... More

Hotelrooms are spacious, beds are huge and comfortable. Breakfast is goed, enough choices for anyone. Conference Center is nice. Meeting rooms with all facilities and good service. Friendly service. We used the Terrace Room, a room with a nice atmosphere and lots of daylight.

Just spent a weekend celebrating our 50th high school reunion! Staff was so accommodating. Rooms are nice and roomy. They will be getting a facelift which they need. Restaurant menu is limited but food is good . As a former business traveler, I would give it high marks too. Internet was easy to connect with good speed

I've been staying at the Desmond in Malvern off and on for over 15 years. During this time, I have always experienced some of best meals and service on a consistent basis. I have also hosts many meetings here and found the facilities and staff to be top rate! They recently have begun to "renovate" their guest rooms; which severely... More

The hotel is nice and clean. The staff are friendly and offer a great shuttle service. The breakfast is lovely and great service. Great choice on the bar and restaurant menu. A huge drink selection in the bar the only downfall is the bar is very load.

Is this hotel brand new and spotless? No. Is it dirty and gross? Not at all. If you have that mindset going into this beauty you will love your stay. I was sadly only here one night and wasn't able to dine at the restaurant. When we asked the front desk if the breakfast was a "standard breakfast" she said... More

Built in 1988, this colonial style hotel is very comfortable. Handles mostly corporate events but still comphy for travelers. We had a death at Paoli Hospital and were treated with the up.-most respect. which we deeply appreciated. Some renovation going on but not a problem
