My husband and I ate at The Desmond last night for the first time. We had read the reviews and were hoping it would be a nice dinner. It was wonderful! Our waitress was fantastic - warm, right on top of things. It was a bitter cold night, but the dining room was cozy and quiet, with low lighting. We... More

Stayed at the Desmond on a business trip. Lovely welcoming lobby on entering the hotel. As some other reviews mentioned, the style of the hotel is a bit old fashioned but that’s not necessarily a bad thing (except for the wallpaper which is dreadful!). The rooms were cosy, nice large comfy bed, good shower and the wifi in the room... More

Stayed for 2 nights, conveniently located next door to Microsoft. Lobby is expansive and welcoming, though it has an old fashioned feel. Beds were comfy, pillows too soft. We had some trouble with the shower drain so you were standing in water by the end of a 15 minute shower. Pool was chilly and looks unclean. We had a group... More

My company had food brought in from the Desmond for our work party. Out of this world. Filet Tips in a tasty mushroom sauce over noodles, Chicken Picata, Pasta, several salads, deserts out the wazoo. Don't know what it cost but everything was high quality.

The lobby and banquet room was nice but as soon as we stepped into our room we were transported back in time...not in a good way. The rooms are really outdated. If you like sleeping on a rock, you will love the bed. The heat in our room was on some kind of sensor that adjust the room to a... More

Dear Guest, I am so sorry the room didn't live up to your expectation.. We have reviewed your comments and our team has investigated your feedback. The heaters operate 100% under human control, there is no motion sensor involvement. As you mentioned, we are renovating the guest rooms. by the end of April, all of our rooms will have a... More

I stayed there for few days. Kind of an old fashion English manor but comfortable and convenient. Service quite nice and bar/restaurant good places to relax after work. Breakfast service can be a little long if you come after 7am but it is minor comment.

Great staff, but the rooms are ... Just tired. Staff is friendly and helpful. Able to arrange group transport, if needed. Pet-friendly hotel. They just need to do a little updating on the room decor. Would make a huge difference.

Front desk help were very pleasant and helpful. Printed maps for our tournament location. Room was clean, all needs in room. Ate in pub, was ok. Pork nachos were not a good combo, asked for something else. Wait staff was slow to check on us. Would have ordered more if wait staff came back. Breakfast in morning was fresh and... More

I have been to this location several times for weddings and events and have never been disappointed! Their staff is extremely attentive and their food is some of the best around. This time when visiting, the hotel was booked completely and there was a wait list for rooms... No fear - the hotel staff stayed in contact with me days... More

If you suddenly find yourself transported back into the 70's, this is the place to stay! The entire hotel is dated and tired. The room wasn't too bad, but the beds felt like they were from an era of days gone by. We stayed on a weekend and there were multiple wedding receptions and other functions in their ballroom, which... More
