Nice hotel and staff. Facility includes everything you need so you won't feel like you need to get in the car for a restaurant. I don't ski but seems like the slopes are a bit too kid friendly. Room was very clean. Only complaint is noise above our room sounded like moving chairs and tables all day and night. Cleaning... More

We started coming here in 2003/2004 with our 4 children! We loved the mid- week specials and would actually let the kids skip school to enjoy an awesome family overnight 1 hr away from home! We did this for 6 or 7 years! My youngest is now in high school and for old times sake we thought we'd do one... More

Spent three nights there with my kids in late December and really was rather disappointed. Granted the weather was not ideal for skiing but there were only a few slopes open and no tubing and on one of the days one of the lifts broke down stranding guests for over an hour.On our last day we ended up driving to... I had an excellent time learning with other women in a group setting on this like-new and pristine property. The food atmosphere and friendliness added to the experience of practicing and learning in the beginner area including the magic carpet area, which was nice and wide and high, and the adjacent first lift area. I'm looking forward to going back... More

Skiing here is perfect for intermediate skiiers and beginners. There are four expert slopes which are lower scale single diamond runs,However there is one run,Sasquatch which is steeper than any slope that I've ever been on including,East Mt @Jack Frost,Razors Edge @Blue Mt,All Expert slopes @Elk Mt and Outer Limits at Killington,Vermont..The ski patrol told me that Sasquatch was a 52... We live about 45 minutes away and do day trips to Bear Creek all the time. It is great for the beginner and intermediate skier with a wide variety of trails that help boost confidence as you move up. The lodge is nice if you are the non skier hanging out and the food is a bit above average for... More

Dear Elora21 Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us. I am thrilled to hear you had such a wonderful time and hope you are able to return for some skiing this winter. And YES, if we can only move the mountain 15 miles toward the poconos, it would help us with more snow. If I can be... More

Stayed here recently for a holiday party. The accommodations were very nice, clean, great amenities. Would have liked an option for food late night like room service. And I didn't like paying $3 for a bottle of water. But we did have a fridge in our room so bringing for along would be an option for the future. Would return,... More

The food was basic and overpriced just chili and a slice of pizza were $18 and there were hardly any seats. Also there was vomit and food on the floor uncleaned for hours only a few trails were open, and it was very crowded

I went to Bear Creek for a couple of days of meetings and was pleasantly surprised by the ambiance, service, and food. Although I didn't stay overnight in the hotel, the meeting room staff were very responsive, professional and accommodating. We had a good view of the ski area from our meeting room and everything was in good working condition.... More

We recently stayed at Bear Creek for the Christmas holiday. From the moment we walked in the staff was amazing. Due to not much snow only a few slopes were open so Bear a Creek staff could not have been more helpful. Merrill the front desk manager bent over backwards to make sure our stay was pleasurable! If you are... More
