5 Stars! We stayed overnight at Thistledown after attending a concert in Greensburg (all in celebration of our two year wedding anniversary.) Our stay was incredible in all ways. Not only were we able to check in early, the staff went above and beyond to tend to all our needs. Included in the overnight stay was a wonderful breakfast; they... More

This couldn't have been nicer. I was visiting friends for the holiday and when the Thanksgiving crown overflowed, the lucky ones got a room at Thistledown. This is an absolutely amazing B&B right on Main Street USA. Ligonier is small town America from 100 years past, perfectly preserved and an absolute must see.

My husband and I just stayed here when we were visiting the area, and it was amazing! The room was gorgeous and absolutely spotless, the staff was super friendly and helpful, and the cafe downstairs was adorable and had good food. We were able walk down to the fort and around the downtown area super easily, and it's within easy... More

I won this wonderful 2-night stay at Thistledown in Ligonier from Laurel Highlands.org. My husband and I were quite pleased with room 202 at the inn. Breakfast and lunch was included in my package. The homemade pumpkin scones, delightful cappuccino from our delightful B&B (blonde barista) was just what we needed to start the morning off each day in this... More

The service, breakfast, location, and rooms for this amazing property are stunning and relaxing. The owner is a prince of a man and "The Kitchen" restaurant down the street is amazing. If you are coming to town to play Laurel Valley a great close place to stay and relax.

we were in Ligonier for a wedding and stayed at the Thistledown. The room was very unique, cozy, clean, comfortable and morning coffee on the porch delightful! The building was a hospital until recently- speaking with the townspeople, many were born there! Don't miss the Fort museum or the truly unbelievable taxidermy at Joe's bar! The the only downside is... More

I stayed at Thistledown while visiting Ligonier, and Falling Water, on a weekend trip with my parents. We stayed in rooms 202 and 203 3 weeks ago now. The beautiful inn was such a great find. We were only able to stay in the area for 1 night but after staying at Thistledown and walking around the the town in... More

We had a two night getaway at the Thistledown Inn and it was great. The room was crazy clean and inviting. The food was really good and the atmosphere was inviting. The hosts and the employees are all very accommodating. I cannot think of anything that could have been better. If your travels take you near Ligonier, stay at the... More

Had a wedding in Ligonier and picked the Thistledown. I am always worried about enough electric for hair dryer or whether the bed will be lumpy and uncomfortable. Well my worries were unfounded. The Thistledown is a five star from start to finish. We stayed in room 202 and a fabulous clean modern bathroom, gorgeously decorated with small chandeliers and... More

My husband and I took an old-fashioned road trip along the Lincolm Highway in Pennsylvania last week. We had no advance reservations and ended up in Ligonier for the evening looking for a place to stay. We drove past Thistledown and were instantly intrigued with the beauty and character of the building. As it is not quite tourist season in... More
