The exterior of this historic hotel does not match the interior. Broken furniture, dirty upholstery, torn linens and toilet seat with the paint worn off are just a few of the offensive qualities of the rooms. And all this for over $200 per night for a suite. Don't look too closely at the bathroom walls either. The lobby and bar/dining... More

The rooms are old and show their use. Blankets are torn. Room cold even with 80 set on temperature. Food was good. Wifi service very poor. Lack of plugs to conveniently charge and operate laptop and iPad. Everybody said this was great hotel but I find it very disappointing.

The food and the bartender was good. Waited awhile for service. A little more choices offered on the menu would be better. The hotel itself is nice. Would recommend it. the atmosphere was nice & quit.

Television commercial prompted my stay. My room was near the court yard. The outside carpet needs to be replaced and is not a good introduction to the room area. I would not want a room in the court yard area, if I stayed over the summer, as it was noisy at times during the night of my stay; I could... More

On entry, the hotel's first floor is a beautiful example of quality woodwork. However, this floor , as well as all the others, was lighted like a bat cave. To check in we had to wonder the building to find a person to take care of us. The same on checkout where we found a housekeeper to receive our keys... More

On the main street of historic Lewisburg, this gem is very nice...economical rooms, very good restaurant, excellent bar, and an outside patio, all in a very classical building. Staff was very nice, service good, one thing to note, was it is a casual atmosphere, more akin to a large b&b, for instance, the bartender was also the check-in person when... More

I ate lunch here on 06/21/13. We had the Sunflower Dusted Chicken sandwich and the Reuben sandwich. They were both very good. I had their sweet potato fries and I think they were the best sweet potato fries I have ever had. They were slightly crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. They sprinkled a little sugar on... This is a historic building with great features throughout. I am staying in the patio rooms, which are very clean and well kept. The Furniture and bedding are a bit dated, but comfortable. The staff is great, and try to accommodate my requests. I had the pleasure of a wonderful acoustic set last night on the patio that I truly... More

I'd be ok wtih this place...since the people are so nice ... if they didn't charge $215 for a horrible "suite." Oh, and we stayed in the nicer main building. Never slept in a worse bed. Never had thinner walls - could hear every word next door. Never had a room to our door that actually didn't fully close Time... More

Hotel's exterior, lobby and restaurant areas are charming and reflective the quaintness of this lovely downtown. Perfect location for visiting the Bucknell campus, local shops, and restaurants. However, the accommodations are not just dated, but uncomfortable. Thermostat did not work. I opened the window a crack in 28 degree weather to get comfortable. One of the two queen beds was... More
