PJ welcome our late arrival 12:15 AM and open the lounge to us....my customers were impressed with the rooms (clean and comfortable) as well as the Sunday brunch (especially the sausage and waffles). Appreciated the honor system, look forward to visiting again

My husband and I have a sentimental attachment to this place, having been there after our wedding and for anniversaries. We have always stayed in the cottages which are lovely. Our last stay was in the main inn building and was a little bit of a letdown. Walls are very thin so we heard our neighbor coughing all night, the... More

Attended winter wedding, reception and spent the night. Room was comfortable at Shaffer House. Had a nice covered deck and large yard out back. Bed, linens, room were pristine and towels abundant. Folks working there were very friendly and efficient. Innkeepers Maggie and PJ were quite friendly. Breakfast the following morning was wonderful. We were quite pleased to spend the... More

Excellent food, great staff, even better accommodations. Have stayed and eaten here quite a few times, always on point. I highly reccomend one of the cottage rooms. Also, who doesn't love a little loaf of bread baked into a flower pot? :)

We often stay here when we are x-country skiing in the Laurel Highlands. The place is a friendly, simple, cozy, country inn. Pleasant bar and restaurant, great breakfast buffet, PJ and Maggie are kind and delightful. Highly recommend.

Overnight stay for wedding nearby. For the area, pretty nice room. Dated but clean, lots of towels, comfy bed, helpful and friendly staff, decent breakfast. I think a bit high priced for out of season but would recommend

We booked on-line (which is super convenient) last minute not knowing anything about the Inn. We were pleasantly surprised! We stayed in the Shafer house which is very unassuming from the outside but inside was lovely. Our room was quaint with a nice porch. The bathroom was a mix of old-fashioned and modern, with the pedestal sink and shower/Jacuzzi tub.... More

We stayed here while in town attending a wedding reception that was on the premises. We stayed in Rose Cottage "the honeymoon suites" Amazing, spacious rooms complete with a flatscreen tv, fireplace, jacuzzi tub, and king size bed. Great complementary breakfast in the morning. Loved the stay!

A lovely inn in the middle of nowhere and everywhere. We booked our room because of a family wedding taking place there. Our room was cozy and clean. It was nice to be able to slip to our room during the reception for wardrobe adjustments. There is so much history in the area we would have loved to have had... More

We had a WONDERFUL time at the Ligonier Country Inn! Our room and bath were very clean. However, the carpet and cushion stains should be cleaned. The staff was exceptional. They went out of their way to make our stay above and beyond our expectations. We will definitely stay again.
