And then I came on TripAdvisor and see why... She was very rude. Initally I thought she meant they were closed at the moment and she would be available to take calls later. I asked her if there was a better time to call back and said, "No, I said we were closed!" And hung up. RUDE!

I am starting a new job nearby and my wife and i needed a short term place to live before we found a long term rental apartment. We spoke with Maryann and we agreed to stay the six weeks we required. She did not have the credit car machine with her so said she would call us the next day... More

The inn manager and the inn owner are exceptional--VERY helpful in making arrangements for our large group, accommodating us at one time for breakfast, and pointing out interesting sights in the area which would be of interest to our mixed-age group with children. The grounds are lovely. It's a treat to stay at such a beautiful historic inn. The breakfasts... More

Ugh!!! Horrible manure smells permeate the B&B. You cannot escape. You also cannot escape the BUGS everywhere (140 in my room alone). The rooms are shabby and filthy: when we turned on the overhead fan, dirt and dead bugs flew off. The pool was closed but the area was unkempt. I wouldn't send my worst enemy here.

Wonderful TIme at the Cornerstone Inn The mother of the baby shower party that stayed at the Inn over the weekend with 22 other guests stated to the Innkeeper how wonderful and beautiful the house was and that everyone in the party had a wonderful time. At the last minute we used an apartment that had been recently vacated to... More

We stayed Here for a family baby shower as part of a group of 10. The house and grounds are visually appealing but overwhelmed by a pig/cow odor. I know it is an agricultural area but this was staggering. Plus, our room (3a) was crawling with stink bugs. We informed the owner and she went in to eradicate them, telling... More

I recently traveled to this inn based on the location and posted reviews. One of the reasons I enjoy staying at B & B's is the hospitality. Upon arrival, we were asked for payment before we even saw our rooms. No welcoming drink or cookies here! The innkeeper does not stay on sight. While there are locks on individual rooms,... More

Cornerstone Inn proved to be the most charming Bed & Breakfast that I have visited to date. This beautiful historic home provided the absolute perfect location for my sightseeing and visiting adventures. I was quite taken by the scenery at and around the Inn. The Innkeeper, Laura, had a very easy way of making us all feel like longtime friends... More

We've been back and forth across the country, to many B&B's and this one far-surpasses any other. The history, the proximity to historical sites, the rooms, the food, but mostly the Innkeeper, Laura made this a perfect weekend getaway that we've already been to twice and will go to again in the near future.

This was my second visit; it was as good as I remembered. The quiet, tastefully decorated house emanates history (a personal interest), the breakfasts were wonderful, and the innkeeper, Laura, made the stay special as before. Another pleasant feature of the Cornerstone is the location. On both visits, I've taken strolls in the beautiful, rolling area where the inn is... More

I stayed at the Cornerstone Inn at the suggestion of a friend who had recently had the pleasure of staying there. We could not have been more pleased. :-) The decor was period specific the 1700's and the room was immaculate! The bed super comfy just as would be expected at a high end B&B. We went to Longwood Gardens... More
