All things considered, this is not a bad hotel, despite the reviews. This is NOT a five star hotel. Yes, it is a bit old and dated. But the staff here do great with what they have. We booked through Groupon, and it cost us about $350 for 4 nights - a huge bargain! When we went to check in,... More

Was looking for an inexpensive getaway, and booked through Groupon. Got nervous when I read the reviews. If you're used to the Hilton or Ritz Carlton, then go there. If you're looking for a clean, comfortable place to stay, the resort is fine. It's an older resort and could use some upgrades (ie. fitness center), but it is fine. The... More

Hotel was very dated. old carpet, bathtub peeling on the bottom. Rooms doors slam very hard and kept me awake with people going in and out until late in the night, same thing early next morning. I had to make a last minute reservation and the visitors center recommended this one (must get pay backs from them) at a VERY... More

This is by far the worst place we have stayed at. A complete waist of a weekend. First off there was no water pressure to take showers. The water didn't even come out the shower head. We had to leave after the first night. It wasn't just our room is was whole hotel they were trying to fix the problem.... More

I just returned from a visit with my family. The negative reviews are unwarranted, we were pleasantly surprised upon our arrival. I found this hotel to be great. It was very clean. Both pools were in good condition, children's play area was a hit with my little one and breakfast buffet was good. The staff was accommodating and very friendly. It... More

I recently stayed two nights at the Lancaster Host with my mother and two year old daughter. We purchased a deal through groupon and got a great rate...however, despite the $59 nightly rate...this hotel was not even worth it. The location is good as we were visiting the outlets and Dutch Wonderland. The room was probably cleaned well but due... More

I had purchased a "deal" and the price was so reasonable - after looking at the pictures online it seemed too good to be true. It was. At check in they told me they were having a water pressure problem and so if we decided that we wanted to leave, they would understand and refund me. I started getting concerned... More

We stayed here a few nights ago .The most horrible few days we spent. First, spiders on bed, smelled musty, locked out of our room, front desk said the maintenance person will be there shortly. Well, 20 to 30 minutes later no maintence person came. I finally realized to go around back to enter thru back door. Which worked. No... More

This hotel is very old. Believe the previous 3 reviews when you read them. The ceiling tiles has mold on them. The AC does not work. We tried calling the front desk but could not get a dial tone. When we walked to the front desk, we were told that the phone lines were messed up and would be fixed... More
