We've been going to Lancaster for annual board/wargaming convention every August for past 10 years. Stayed other places, hated every one. We really appreciate the Continental. The rooms are basic but clean, Well furnished, even two chairs, which is unheard of in newer motels! New flat panel TVs and lots of parking. I have trouble sleeping, always sleep like a... More

We stayed here for a volleyball tournament. The Continental Inn is more of a motel than an Inn. The rooms all face the exterior and are outdated. The beds were pretty comfortable and mostly clean but not meticulous. We stayed this weekend and it was cold. We got in early evening and turned the heat up because it was chilly.... More

We've stayed at the Hotel several times before. This was our first time however going for the Hotel's New Year's eve bash (more on that later). Front desk: We had the same front desk agent checking in and out and I'd say that anyone working in this position should be a little more talkative and upbeat, which is the opposite... More

We were forced to stay here through the Hempfield Classic Soccer Tournament. I would never choose to stay here. This is a motel not an inn. It is extremely run down. With the rate we were charged of $275 for 2 nights, you would think they could update/renovate. We were in town on a night when the temperature went down... More

I went to PA three years straight with my family. All three times I stayed at the Continental Inn. The first time around it worked out like a charm as the kids were young enough to be satisfied with the lack of modernized entertainment. The game room was simple and just about every game was broken each year I went,... More

The property and rooms are a bit dated, however they are well kept.We had a room over looking the pool and courtyard and it was very adequate.Room was clean and had comfortable beds and plenty of room for two.Rates were reasonable for accomodations.Would absolutely stay again.Pool was ok,but for price you cant beat it!Only problem was a less than friendly front... We arrived to a very dimly lit sketchy parking lot, not very welcoming. A few of the staff members were lounging in the customer waiting area on their cell phones and watching Television. Which I though was kind of unprofessional. So then we got to our room. It looked like it hadn't been cleaned. There was hair clips on the... More
