We just returned from another wonderful stay at Spruce Lane. We are there 1-3 times a year and have been for 15 years. We are always treated as old friends, catching up with each other. This year there was a horrible storm, high wind gusts, chance of hail and our motorcycle was in their garage. Love it there.

These quaint cottages are SO much better than a hotel room, and they're in a pretty area but close to all the Lancaster attractions. They could pay a little more attention to the cobwebs in the corners, but overall it was clean enough and comfortable.

We returned yesterday from 3 days in cottage #51 at Spruce Lane. It was spacious, clean, cute, and quiet. I even noticed that the ceiling fan/light was well dusted and shiny clean. When calling for the reservation I asked for a cottage facing the small airport behind the cottage, and we were able to view some plane take-offs and landings.... More

We came to Lancaster a day earlier than planned. We needed a place for one night, as we already had a reservation for the following night. I was looking at places here on Trip Advisor and saw the Spruce Lane. As many times as we have been to Lancaster, I never saw this place. I called and they had a... More

We spent a week there while on vacation in Lancaster County, PA. The rooms are large, clean, and comfortable. It is a quite place even though it is near a busy highway. Sitting on the lawn in the evening was a great plus. The grounds could use some attention and would benefit from weeding and flowers. We had clothing for... More

Been using Spruce Lane for years when family and friends visit Lancaster for quilt sales or other events. The rooms are great, the locations is away from the hustle and bustle of downtown while being close to the outlets and Amish Country. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to anyone looking for a Lancaster getaway.Run by "local folks" who go... More

My husband and I stayed at Spruce Lane this past weekend. We had Cottage #23 and were VERY pleased with everything. From the initial phone call to make the reservation, to the check in, and especially the quality and condition of the cottage. It was very clean and neat as well as very spacious. The exterior is very quaint and... More

We have stayed here numerous times in the last 5 or so years and they have yet to let us down. Very friendly, clean, reasonably priced place to stay. Didn't sleep to good the 1st night but wifey did. I switched to the other bed and slept fine for the rest of the trip. Highly recommend!
