As a former corporate pilot based in Singapore and now a Captain for a major U.S. Airline, it's probably fair to say that I am a professional traveler. I've been all over the world and my wife and I have been blessed to stay in all kinds of hotels, resorts and bed & breakfast inns. We recently traveled with friends... More

I've lived in Lancaster my whole life and finally had the pleasure of attending a wedding here this past weekend. The weather was lovely and the venue was the perfect mix of old farm charm and with modern amenities. Since I was a guest I didn't have a chance to see the upstairs, but there are two large rooms on... More

My wife and I were looking for a romantic getaway for our anniversary at the last minute. We scanned thru this website and liked the look of Pheasant Run Farm. We are SO glad we chose to go here! This is what a B&B should be! I don't care for B&Bs that squeeze everyone together into close quarters, where you... More

Pheasant Run Farm has an excellent website and the 48 acre farm, renovated barn and friendly staff made for a very pleasant visit for our group of six (we stayed in the three 2nd floor rooms). Superlatives would describe all aspects of our visit including outstanding breakfasts. The farm is in a rural setting about 5 miles south of Lancaster.... More

10 years ago, on our honeymoon, we had our heart set on another B & B that was unavailable, and were so disappointed, but they recommended Pheasant Run Farm, and it was much better than their place ... Praise God! what a lovely, lovely, surprise now, on our anniversary, we're embarrassed - because it's even better than we remember -... More

We visited Pheasant Run Farm for an anniversary getaway. I can not say enough good things about this B&B. The hosts are friendly, outgoing and extremely helpful. Breakfasts made by Elizabeth were scrumptious and bountiful. The Inn itself is a restored barn built in 1809. The hosts have lovingly restored this farm to a beautiful and tranquil piece of heaven... We visited Pheasant Run for the first time as part of going to a sweet 16 birthday party. It was really dark and we did not know what to expect, but in the end we were very impressed with the facility. Classic stone walls, lots of rooms for dancing, and a nice area to dine made it a wonderful visit.... More

lovely antique furniture creates a wonderful place in the countryside. Welcome was excellent from the host. Farm is in beautiful countryside with stunning views to the setting sun. We were assisted with advice on where to eat on a Sunday which was very helpful. Tea, coffee and cookies available all day and a lovely lounge to relax in as well... More

We received a warm, genuine greeting from our hosts. It is a beautiful place inside and out with great attention to detail. The only thing we would say as a criticism was that breakfast was okay, not wow. We were happy we made the choice to stay there.

The renovated barn is stunning and so thoughtfully decorated, and the grounds were beautiful. Our room and bathroom were immaculate and nicely appointed. Breakfast the next morning was delicious and the owners were very sweet and friendly and we had nice chats with them. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to family and friends. It was... More
