We stayed in the Adelaide Hills room and enjoyed the beautiful canopy bed with sleep number mattress and heated bed pad! Also the adjoining sitting room was a welcome addition as was the bathtub with relaxing jets. Lynn and Bob did everything imaginable to make our stay just perfect. And the breakfasts were to die for! We hope to return... More

Lynne and Bob truly did create a wonderful B&B. From the afternoon wine/beer to the in room chocolates and toiletries, they really have thought of everything you may need and then some. Daily breakfasts were amazing as well.

We stayed in the Adelaide Hills Suite and really enjoyed having the separate sitting room. The room itself was very comfortable with some nice little touches. There is a coffee/tea station and a refrigerator stocked with drinks available anytime on the main floor. Lynne and Bob are wonderful hosts. The food was delicious and Lynne's baked goods FANTASTIC!! The only... More

Thank you, John, for your review. Glad you enjoyed the baked goods and hope you got to enjoy some of the extra special cookies that we made for the Belsnickle Tour that we participated in that weekend. While we don't actually have walls made of paper (they're horsehair plaster and lath), the age of the house does present its challenges.... More

The room was very comfortable, the hospitality was great and the breakfast was wonderful! We loved the 2 person shower, and the Keurig in the room was a nice touch! Will be coming back to again soon!!

Isn't late November a great time for a getaway? Right before things get all crazy-busy, you can just take some time for yourselves and de-stress to prepare for the go-go-go of the holidays. We're glad that you chose to spend it with us and hope that when you need another quick getaway, you'll think of us. -Lynne & Bob More

We get a lot of compliments on those heated mattress pads. Seems like such a little thing, but our guests really like them - glad you did, too! Hope you'll return again soon (Samson starts March 12th at Sight & Sound). We've corrected the WiFi problem. Seems that our extender was on the fritz. More

My husband and I stayed one night with Lynne and Bob at Australian Walkabout. We were welcomed from the time we arrived. The accommodations were just perfect, not too frilly. Very relaxing, well kept. We loved the hot tub, plush towels, heated mattress pad. The breakfast was delicious and both Lynne and Bob were very friendly hosts. The location is... More

Thank you! We LOVE our location. As you mentioned, it's not right in the thick of everything, but close enough to all the great restaurants, attractions and shopping. And not only can we celebrate our proximity to Sight & Sound, but they bring us wonderful guests, too. Remember, Samson is debuting in March, so you'll want to get your tickets... More

This was our first time at a bed and breakfast and absolutely loved it! We stayed in the Victoria Suite and it was clean, well kept, and very modernized. The shower was a walk in shower that also included a rain shower head. This was perfect for my husband as he's 6'3 and we find that many hotel showers are... More

We LOVE our first-timers and hope you'll return again soon. We designed the shower in the Victoria Suite for the very reason you mentioned - many of our taller guests really appreciate that 10" rainfall shower head that suspends from the 9' ceiling. We're so glad that you enjoyed it. - Lynne & Bob More

We stayed in the McLaren Vale Suite. We had to arrive late after hours and they made special arrangements to allow us to get in our room. The room was very nice and clean, it has a very home style feel that makes you feel comfortable, unlike normal hotel rooms. We had a hot tub in our room which worked... More

Drew & Kristin, Congratulations on your wedding! I think you win the award for the shortest commute to our B&B. Regardless, we certainly hope you'll return for another stay in the near future. In the meantime, best of luck with the food truck! More
