Poor, poor poor dining experience. We dined at the General Lafayette Inn for Mother's Day in May and all I can say is if you enjoy overcooked and tasteless food, long waits for buffet items to come out and grocery store bought cut-up Entemann's pastries then this is the perfect spot for you. The buffet kept running out of food... More

I always wanted to stay here. I was really intrigued. Boy, what a mistake and waste of money this was. To start with, we had dinner, which was mediocre at its best. Website doesn't fairly represent property. The "Inn" is a house separate from the restaurant, in the rear. Two bedrooms downstairs and three upstairs. Property is old and shows it's age. There is no staff or management in the home, check-in is at the restaurant. We paid for three nights in advance upon check-in. Handwritten note on room door instructs us... More
