We enjoyed our stay at the Comfort Inn, Valley Forge. The staff at the front desk was very accommodating, got me whatever I requested without giving me a hard time and very friendly. My room was spacious and clean! Wow, what an extra bonus with microwave and refrigerator in the room. You don't see too many hotels with microwave and... more

Some of the Choice Hotel properties we've encountered in our Choice-exclusive, 7,000-mile trips around the country the past two summers are renovated properties--some old TravelLodge's, or other chains, bought/sold--some fixed up, some somewhat fixed up, some not so much. This was a not too much. This was a two-night stay for us, so we could see Philly and Valley Forge.... more

Comfort Inn had more problems than alot of places we have stayed. First of all we couldn't access our room with our key and had to have it rekeyed twice. Even then it took a number of tries to get in. The staff just said the lock was probably broken, but no suggestion of a different room or getting it... more

We would like to thank the guest for providing their review. The guest experienced difficulties on a day when the hotel was sold out. Electronic locks and their keys are as much an art as a science. Putting the key in too fast or too slow can cause the locking mechanism not to work. The guest had a leak in...

Stayed here for two nights for a little shopping/sightseeing get away. The King Non-Smoking room was comfortable enough; the bed was nice with plenty of pillows. That's probably the only positive thing I can say. Problems began right after check in. The electric plugs in the room were puzzling; neither bedside lamp would turn on and the clock was off... more

I stayed at this Comfort Inn only about a month ago and decided it was decent enough to stay again, since the rate is low enough to offset a couple minor flaws. However, the problems are just too inconvenient to overlook. Mainly, the bed is not comfortable and I tossed and turned all night, which is unusual for me. Also,... more

The hotel is not bad from a first glance, but we were very unhappy guests by the end of our 4-night stay. You would never know it was a non-smoking property. We were on a non-smoking floor and could literally smell cigarette smoke as soon as we got to the third floor, either wafting up from other floor or leftover... more

We recently stayed here when we sent our daughter off to a nearby college .....the hotel is closely situated and convenient to West-of-Philadelphia colleges and is close to shopping/eating facilities. We were able to get a room which had a separate sofabed sleeper (for the same quoted price). It was pretty apparent that this hotel needs to be renovated.....while it... more

I have stayed in lots of Comfort Inns and some are great and some are just okay, but this one is the worst I've stayed in. They were in the process of remodeling and I don't hold that against them, but the rest of the experience can't be explained by remodeling. The clerks were clueless about the local area, we... more

The pictures of this hotel are very deceiving and the hotel overall was very diasppointing. The hotel exterior looks dllapitated and the rooms are grungy and in need of a remodeling. While the hotel is within walking distance of the huge King of Prussia mall and offers a very reasonable rate, business travelers would be wise to stay elsewhere. The... more

We stayed at the Comfort Inn Valley Forge after attending a musical in Philadelphia. Not wanting to drive home late at night we chose the Comfort Inn as we are members of the Choice Hotels program and have always had a nice experience at Comfort Inns. The room was clean and had all the amenities necessary, including the refrigerator I... more
