Checked this place out for one night using a groupon a while back. Room was extremely dated but very spacious with a separate living area and huge tub. The bed was extremely comfortable! The casino itself is very small and no nightlife to speak of, but some nice restaurants, esp. Pacific Prime, which I highly recommend.

One of the frustrations I have traveling is hotels with casino's attached make you walk through the casino to eat, get to your room or attend a meeting. None of that is the case here. If you are here for a meeting you are going to walk a distance to the meeting and back. I tracked my walking with my... More

I don't submit reviews unless the place is awesome or terrible. This place is terrible. I'm not a snob that needs mints on the pillows but I do notice a dented fridge door with a piece of plywood under it, dust bunnies swaying along the ceiling, peeling wallpaper, missing light bulbs, stains, bent light shades, upside down folding closet doors... My girlfriend and I decided to spend two nights here on our way home to Va beach from Vermont. We didn't arrive or check in till 1:30 in the morning. The valet guy was kind enough to inform us that we would have to check in at the radision due to the check in for the tower was closed for... More

We made the trip to VF casino to see our friend Chef Guy Mitchell's show during the Food & Travel show that took place Saturday, Sun 2/21-2/22 . My theory on the bad reviews is I think people are holding these lower end casinos up to the same standards as the Vegas or AC caliber casino. Its like comparing Burger... More

We appreciate you taking the time to let us know about your stay. It was great to hear that you enjoyed the facilities, including the casino. We are very proud of our outlets throughout the facility and our staff in general. There is always some activity going on within the facility for our guests to enjoy. We hope you have... More

First off, I know there are a lot of comments about paying $10 to enter the casino, which are correct and it is bizarre. That being said it is the type of license this property has so blame it on the Commonwealth of PA and not the casino. Secondly hotel guests do not have to pay, and I believe if... More

Thanks for your comments. You are right that the state requires us to charge a $10 access fee to the casino due to the type of license that we have. A hotel guest paying for their room gets complimentary access as well as the purchase of anything in the resort, including a gift certificate that can be used anywhere in... More

Warning! Do not! Do not! Do not! I repeat Do Not visit this sad excuse for a casino. I found it insulting that we each had to pay $10.00 just to enter the casino. I've been to casinos all over the country and was never forced to pay a fee. That's just plain insulting. We had to stand in line... More

Thank you for your comments. We are required by the State of Pennsylvania to charge a $10 access fee to the casino due to the type of license that we have. We do try to make the access process easier for our guests by giving access at the food outlets if $10 is spent or if a paying guest of... More

We stopped for the night after dropping our son at college. The hotel was tricky to find. Found the casino entrance and the hotel was inside upstairs. Signage was lacking but the employees were all helpful. We stayed in the Tower. It was clean but well used. Room was spacious and the frig and microwave were nice additions. Bed was... More

We appreciate you taking the time to tell us about you visit. We are in the planning process for a remodeling project in the tower which will update the facility. The casino, while small, has an appeal to a wide range of clientele because of the quality of staff and it is very safe. We hope that you have the... More

Bed was so saggy, sheets looked dirty stained, floors not clean. While there for two days someone had spilled coffee on tile and it was there when we checked in and still there and not cleaned when we checked out. The hotel cost was a deal but not for the dirty room and carpets were absolutely unacceptable filthy.

It was disappointing to hear your comments as we spent substantial time and effort to maintain the facility. We have levels of staff whose responsibility is to maintain the hotel and address any cleanliness issues. We have the procedures that should address any equipment hat is not in working order or deficient, including mattresses, so our guests are not inconvenienced.... More

Staff are very nice, rooms are a little out dated, but clean. The house keeping comes banging on your door at 8:30 am to see when you will be checking out. I was told to hang my do not disturb sign on my door I said well if I had one it would have been out.

Thank you for your comments and I apologize for the interruption from housekeeping and not having a Do Not Disturb sign in the rooms. In our environment the Do Not Disturb sign is very important and it should be checked with every cleaning to ensure one is in the room. It was good to hear that you enjoyed the staff... More
