We found this place last minute on our way to Pittsburgh, needing to stop for the night. When we opened the door we were in love. The standard room was so pretty! Wood work everywhere, wood furniture, wagon wheel chandelier, log home interior. It was so cute and comfy. Felt homey and the little touches were nice. Inside was very... More

Upon check-in, saw kangaroo behind the counter, so that's cool. No problems with check-in. Friendly staff. Room took forever to cool down each night. Room was fine for the 4 of us, big enough. Zoo connected to facility for half price, $8, but we didn't have time to visit. Sat on rustic porch at night, could hear lion roar every... More

We decided to go for a weekend getaway and thought this would be a great place as it wasn't too far away. Due to unforseen circumstances, we needed to leave the same night that we arrived. Upon checking out, we asked how we like the room for the 4 hours we were there. We told them it was okay but... More

Our family stayed here overnight on the way to Fallingwater the next day. The room was cozy, comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was enough to get us on our way- bagels, cereal, pastries, fruit and juice. Did not get a chance to visit the zoo but have been to the Moraine site and was impressed with that location. Definitely would... More

The walls of the room were like paper because you could hear the people walking in the room above you all night long! My wife and I went here for a weekend get away for my birthday and wish we would have stayed home!! We stayed here 2 nights. The morning of the second day, we were woke up by... More

We used this motel as a base to visit the beautiful house that is Fallingwater, and on arrival was very surprised to find that it was also home to a small zoo, a fact that I had not seen on their website!! In fact, when we checked in we found three young kangaroos being cared for behind the desk! This... More

Dear Calum K; Thank you for your review. We are glad to hear that you found our room to be clean, spacious and lovely. We have now changed our policy and do not bring the kangaroos into the giftshop until after breakfast has ended. This eliminates the animal smell and allows our guests to enjoy their breakfast. Thank you for... More

Stopped off after a long drive down from Detroit. So it as far too expensive for what it as but the suite was pretty unique and quirky. The log structure makes it rather noisy so make sure to get a room on the first floor ( I as on the ground floor and you had to wait for those upstairs... More

My wife and I stayed at Log Cabin inn and Suites for 4 nights the first week of February. Our purpose of traveling was twofold: to visit family in Pittsburgh and to ski at 7 Springs. This was the perfect location for what we wanted to do. More importantly was the Inn itself. We loved it. Our room was creatively... More

I stayed at the Log Cabin Lodge this past October for a girls weekend! We stayed in a Suite and it was beautiful! The place was so clean! The décor was unique and I took numerous pictures of it to show friends back home in Butler. Though we all are in our late 40's (ok early 50's but who is... More

We live about 40 mins away, and we go every year. We found it by accident coming home from mill run, & stopped in the animal park. There's me, my husband, my daughter, and my twin housemates, who are VERY big guys, so that's 4 adults, and a child. They ALWAYS accommodate or group, and are always very friendly. We're... More
