I have been trying to get ahold of the Knights Inn, Johnstown, PA since the beginning of February 2014, to book a room for an annual conference held at the Johnstown University. I couldn't get ahold of them, since no one ever answered the phone. I ended up calling the Knights inn 800 number, on 02/06/2014, and tried to find... More

First off, the hotel layout was weird our room was on the second floor and you had to go up to flights of steps then once you get on the second floor you had to walk a little piece and then down 2 more flights of stairs. then, the floor lamp didn't work it was soo hard to turn on... More

Definitely an unusual motel. I booked a single room for 4 nights with king size bed and the mattress was so soft and flimsy that I couldn't sleep and had back pains the next day. They agreed to change rooms to a room with 2 double beds which were firmer and acceptable. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful.... More

The breakfast was next to nothing. We've had lavish breakfast at home. I wouldn't tell people we offer breakfast and put a toaster, a loaf of bread, sour milk & stale cereal & danish on a table. Mainly the problem was pending charges on my credit card with two different names of the company. Apparently they had a formal name which... More

The reception and breakfast area face the main street, but the rooms are in two separate buildings just around the corner down the hill. There are stairs that connect to the reception. The two buildings have two floors, and it seems like they've rented out part of the lower floor to another organization. We stayed in the upper level and... More

We were in town for a sporting event and needed a place to stay overnight. The hotel is an older hotel. The actual hotel is separate from the front desk. My children, ages 9, 11 & 14, have been spoiled by staying at Hampton's or that scale of hotel. They were not impresses. It was a hotel that my family... More

On work trips, I want a cheap hotel... But I still have certain standards. Knights Inn was worth it to me. I got my room for $44 a night, so for that price I am expecting clean sheets, a clean room, and hot water. This hotel met that well. I like that they don't have those gross hotel duvet covers;... This hotel latched on to the Knights Inn name. Now they will have corporate resources to help with advertising and upgrading. I spent 2 nights here because of a wedding. For the money it was ok. The public areas were all very nice and newly updated. The rooms were a bit strange to say the least. 1. each floor had... More

I can over look a few flaws in a motel, if the price is low enough - however this motel is fairly expensive, at $380 a week. Here are a list of issues I have with this place 1: 80's style motel 2: Mortar is falling out of the bricks 3: Some of the bricks are crumbling 4: The drain... More
