My friend and I went to the Inn for the Girlfriends Spa Escape Package. The place looked charming enough when we arrived. Upon check-in is when we learned that they had over-booked spa treatments and we were scheduled for our treatments the next morning in the Conference Room. Then we preceded to our Suite (that we paid extra for) where... More

We've just returned from a "Stay and Bike" weekend at the Inn at Jim Thorpe and I continue my love/hate relationship with this quirky little New Orleans style hotel in the Pocono Mountains. Let's start with the love ... * The exterior of the inn is so quaint, in matching with Jim Thorpe's main street. The rooms are small but... More

We stayed for another 2 nights at the Inn at JT. Another great suite with whirlpool bath. We even got the romance package that includes a massage downstairs. It was a great deal. The massage was an hour, side by side...very nice experience right in the bottom level of the hotel. We even discovered a massive gameroom down there with... More

While this hotel is so lovely, please be aware that the rates shown on their site are PER PERSON. For example, when you look at the rates for a weekend package starting at $255.00 for October, that rate is PER PERSON OR $510.00. As long as you clearly understand their web rates, there should be no problem. Ooops, but if... More

After watching the short video on the Inn at Jim Thope's website, I had high expectations for a step back in time with a high standard of service. What I encountered was disappointment after disappointment, and the worst customer service that I have ever encountered at a hotel. Parking is extremely limited, so unless you arrive early expect to have... More

A very upsetting review. My response as follows: Parking: Tight in town.-but we have 3 lots avail to us with more than enough space so there is really no problem -except you may have to unload in front and walk across the street to park. Molly Maguires Pub: You gotta love it. Part of the charm of a small town... More

Wasn't sure what we were going to experience on our Anniversary weekend...but we were pleasantly surprised. This town is so cute! Very quaint and chalked full of history. Don't miss a tour of the Asa Packer Mansion! Well worth the trip just to do this. It's BEAUTIFUL! The Inn is located right in the heart of town. We walked to... More

I appreciate the review and the fact that it was mentioned that it "may not be normal." Certainly this is not the norm here at our property. It's upsetting to our staff when when we get a review such as this one. Since I don't know the date of the stay, I cannot research it -I can only guess that... More

My husband and I pulled into The Inn at Jim Thorpe late one night after we realized we weren't going to make it to our planned destination. What a stroke of luck! At the end of a driving trip up the East Coast to Maine and then back down again, this may have been the nicest place we stayed. It's... More

The Inn at Jim Thorpe was by far the best choice we could have made. We stayed in Suite 200..... and all I can say is wow! There is a living room area with a fireplace, a big flat-screen TV, and a King size bed in the main area. Off the main area is another bedroom with 2 double beds,... More
