Liked: location - on main drag; huge balcony on front of hotel - communal area with rocking chairs overlooking main drag (where I am right now as I type this); three wireless routers, one per floor; buffet breakfast was superb (frankly as good as many swanky hotels I've stayed in on business trips to the UK) - sausages, hash browns,... more

I had never heard of Jim Thorpe before this year and I have to say after visiting this past weekend I will never forget it. It happened to be Jim Thorpe's birthday celebration so alot was happening. I stayed at the Inn at Jim Thorpe which was very nice. The staff was really accommodating. There were fabulous restaurants and great... more

We didn't stay in the main building, but in their other property (I think it's called Broadway House??), about 2 blocks away. The entrance to the building is a little odd (which is fine because we like 'odd') but we were greeted by a foyer that needs some repair (holes in the ceiling), and a rather musty odor. Once we... more

We went on a girls spa getaway to relax and enjoy the company. There were five of us in all and reserved two deluxe rooms. My in-laws had a room on the third floor which was much different then mine. We were greated to the second floor room my a damp, heavy feel to the room. Our view was great.....a... more

I'm not a big fan of Bed & Breakfast hotels, so keep that in mind when you read this. This Inn is not bad. It's very small, and the rooms I stayed in with my girlfriend was small, so if you are going to spend $120 I would think about bucking up a bit and asking for a big room... more

My husband and I stayed at the Inn as a home base for the Lehigh Valley March Madness event. While we were there, the Inn also featured a murder mystery show weekend, included in the lodging price were breakfasts for two days, dinner and the mystery show. It was a great deal. When we checked in the reception staff were... more

Several years back, 2004, my husband called me from one of his many business trips..."You would not believe where I am! The view is amazing, mountains all around!"....He preceeded to call me and share his experience of driving into Jim Thorpe and The Inn at Jim Thorpe. That night he shared with me the story of the haunting at the... more

I had a lengthier review written up for this place, but my session expired before I could submit it. Let's just say, my wife loved the Inn and the town of Jim Thorpe. Our room was perfect.(109). It was at the end of the hall, and had 3 outside walls so it was quiet and private. Didn't eat at the... more

My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at The Inn. From the time we arrived until we departed, everything was lovely. When checking in, I was met with warm smile and friendly hello. After getting our room key card, we took got our bags and took the elevator to the second floor. Upon opening the door to our... more
