Maureen was a great host. She was very welcoming & extremely knowledgeable about the area. She gave great tips & was so pleasant to talk to. She was not overbearing in anyway & you had your privacy. Our room, the Mauch Chunk was small but the bed was comfortable & everything was clean. We really didn’t spend much time in... More

It can be overwhelming when you want to select a B&B and have no clue which one to choose. So look no further and make your reservation at the Parsonage. We were in the Lehigh room which had a very comfy king size bed. The bathroom was updated and the shower/bath had great water pressure and plenty of hot water.... More

This was our second trip to Jim Thorpe. It is a great historic town with wonderful shops and restaurants. The last time we visited, we stayed at the Inn, and this time we choose the Parsonage. We had a wonderful experience. Maureen was an excellent hostess and made some very good recommendations for dinner. The breakfast was delicious and the... More

This is a great little historic building in a great historic town with lots to do and plenty of history!! The Parsonage is located on the main historic street and within walking distance of almost everything. Rooms were neat, clean, and nicely decorated in period pieces. Breakfasts were delicious!! Complimentary coffee in morning and wine in evening. Owner, Maureen, was... More

We found Jim Thorpe on he web and never even heard of it and chose to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary there. We chose The Parsonage. What a GREAT choice. The owner, Maureen, was the best. The house is wonderful and clean. Each morning she fixes fresh coffee for you to rise and shine with and then you go down... More

This was my wife's and my third time in Jim Thorpe in the past year. The previous 2 stays were in the Jim Thorpe Inn, which we love. It was full Martin Luther King Jr. weekend, so we looked elsewhere. We chose the Parsonage due to reviews. It's very clean, has lots of charm, and is one of the oldest... More

I accidentally discovered Jim Thorpe, PA during Fall Festival a couple of years ago and was smitten. With it's New Orleans style three story buildings nestled up against the mountains, the ambiance is amazing. Whether it's the Fall Festival, or Christmastime, Jim Thorpe knows how to enchant the season. The historic Parsonage is a perfect place to stay in this... More

It was a last moment decision for me to go to Jim Thorpe in Oct. Not knowing it was the towns first weekend of "Fall Festival" & most everyone had booked I almost gave up trying to get a room. I am so glad I persevered. One room of the B&B was available, needless to say I was thrilled. The... More

We stayed 2 nights at The Parsonage. It's ideally situated in Jim Thorpe, so that it's easy walking to most attractions, yet a couple of blocks away from the center, so that it's quieter. The rooms are perhaps a bit small, but are nicely furnished and very comfortable. We stayed in the Lehigh room. Maureen is a welcome host and... More

I was a little skeptical when friends suggested a weekend in Jim Thorpe Pa. at a bed and breakfast. I am a fast-pased never sit down girl and thought I would be bored. Well nothing was further from the truth. The Parsonage was quaint, cozy and the proprieter Maureen was such a lovely, delightful woman who bent over backwards to... More
