It was Christmas in July. Cookie decorating. Santa. Lights. Decorations. Hayride with Christmas music. Love it. We will be back. Family fun for all. We took our family Christmas card. Town is nice too

Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. The owners of this place need a desperate lesson in customer service and human relations. There is camping just a mile up the road at Mauch Chunk Lake which is a county park. The camp sites are much better and its more of a nature experience as opposed to camping in an open... More

I would have liked to give this place a higher rating because the campground itself is decent except for the places for bigger RVs, which are cramped and treeless. The other campsites are better, and there is access to a nice walking/bicycling path to Mauch Chunk Lake. The bathrooms are clean. But the owner and son who run the place... More

Friends and I had a rough start at check in. It seems some of the sites were double booked. The owner did all he could to accommodate us and try to correct the error created by his staff. When no solution could be found he gave us our stay for free. The campsites and the bathrooms were very clean. The... More

We just got back from a 3-day weekend at Jim Thorpe Camping Resort. We have a 38' class A motorhome and the spot that they put us in was very easy to navigate in and out of. The campground has a very strict policy regarding adhering to the rules, but I have to say that at 11:01 PM, you could... More

Took my fiancé camping for his first time. This campground was extremely clean I didn't worry when k took a shower they were constantly cleaning the bathrooms. None of the employees bothered you. Everyone was very friendly. Overall we had a great time and we will definitely be returning.

My family and friends have been holding our annual camping trip here for 8 years now. The owner and his son are a bit grumpy but it hardly impacts us. At this point we just expect it and go about our business. The location is perfect, the cabins are great, everything is so clean (including the showers!) and it's not... More

I've never camped before and my husband wanted me to try it out. We settled on a cabin, since recent knee surgery would have made a tent difficult. We had a great time. The campground was located a short drive from downtown and check-in/check-out was easy. We had no other experience with the staff. A man drove by both nights... More

This place should get ZERO stars. I feel bad for the employees that have to work their. The father and son which run the place need a lesson in being a human. The owner I want to say was extremely rude, racist, liar, and did not know how to treat the customers that pay him. The ONLY reason why I... More

I stayed at the campground this weekend and thought it was an average stay. My boyfriend and I arrived on Friday afternoon and check-in was a breeze, staff very friendly and knowledgable. Upon arrival at our assigned campsite (#50) some observations I had were that the camsites seemed to be a little smaller than I have experienced elsewhere, the sites... More
