I had to stay here overnight when United Airlines cancelled my flight to SFO. The refurbishment is almost complete and they have done a nice job. Rooms are nicely appointed, roomy, with lots of outlets. Like most Australian hotels, you have to pay outrageous fees for wifi ($25/day), so that is a minus, but I found that all over Oz.... More

'Renovation complete' said the sign as we drove in to the carpark. Well new carpet, beds and a coat of paint don't cut it I'm afraid when the 1980's pine furniture shows all the wear and tear of its age and the foyer is a construction zone. We stayed here after arriving on one flight late and leaving early for another flight the next morning. The property almost rated excellent except for renovations in progress and buffet dinner whilst appealing, many dishes not warm enough. Staff service at reception excellent but in the dining room missing in action. Ideal location if you are heading to International airport. Room was very comfortable and for any quick overnight stay I would give the accomodation the thumbs up.

We have used this hotel before as it is close to the international airport. Rooms are clean and good size, beds are extremely comfortable and the staff at reception very friendly and helpful. the hotel is being refurbished and this had no impact on our stay. Very happy once again with our stay at the Mercure

The hotel was easy to get to with plenty of off street parking available and close to the rail network. The room was luxurious and clean. The hotel offered value for money. I would recommend to friends and family and would deffinately stay again.
