A very quiet location on the edge of a golf course in Wingham-a picturesque small country town. Garden setting with a large pond in front of the very well maintained and spotlessly clean units. In the pond a colorful collection of Japanese carp enjoying a leisurely swim. The host Paula is a delightful and helpful lady and nothing was too... More

We stayed two nights 25 & 25 Jan 2015 - our second time we have stayed. The units are clean and quiet, the owner operator helpful and friendly. If you eat in the nearby golf course you can eat roast on Sunday night for $6 per head.

We stayed here on Friday 24/10/2014 to catch up with friends from Central Coast and Sydney. What a pleasure it was to be there. Once walking in to the reception and greeted by Paula it gave us the feeling of a very relaxed and welcoming environment. Our rooms were big , airy and spotless. we had a room that overlooked... This was our third stay at the Golf Club Motor Inn, and didn't disappoint. We stayed in room #13 overlooking the lake. It seemed to be freshly painted...everything in excellent condition, with a restful and tasteful decor. Given that this room is one of the larger ones though, we were surprised that the bed, while very long, was quite narrow.... More

My husband and I were looking to getaway for a night to relax and unwind...without breaking the bank. Unfortunately we Looked for a spa room but they were all taken and Paula recommended a secluded room that ended up being worth every cent and so much more! Suddenly the spa wasn't important at all. Even though the hotel was booked... More

I support people with disabilities and my past experiences with "disabled" rooms have been terrible, but this experience was fantastic. The room had a disabled parking bay immediately next to the room. The room was in a quiet part of the Motor Inn and had ramp access into the room. The room had ample doorways and a large bathroom (including... More

this lovely place has lots to offer, comfortable and beautiful surroundings, feed the fish, play golf, go for a walk. There are so many things to do in the valley. Or go for a drive over the mountain to the next valley.

Having stayed here before, we knew what to expect and weren't let down this time for the two nights of our stay. The rooms overlooking the lake are best, offering scenic views and a nice verandah to relax on. We made good use of the air conditioning to keep us warm as there was no separate heating for the room.... More

We returrned during winter and although no turtle or fish to feed off our balcony at this time of the year, the vista is extraordinary. So calm. We can now tell you the aircon is brilliant and so are the electric blankets. Chilly nights and clear sunny days. It is a 'time out; place and just what we needed having... More

This is the perfect spot and well priced for a nice quiet break on the drive between Byron Bay (where I live) and Canberra. Excellent half way stopover, a short drive off freeway. Peaceful, relaxing. Dennis and Paula are great hosts. I've travelled all over the world and stayed in umpteen hotels as a diplomat and for a relaxing overnight... More
