We have stayed at the Thredbo Alpine Hotel a number of times over the past 20 years, including 2 overnight stays this season when the snow was good, and we decided to stay and ski another day. The ski storage and boot drying room open to the path to the village lifts, only a few minutes walk away. Most restaurants... More

Can't get any more convenient for skiers. Walk out hotel and across the road to ski lifts. Complementary ski stowage and use of drying room is a bonus. Close to restaurants and shops in thredbo village. Our rooms on the 1st floor were adequate but were noisy from 4-6pm from loud music at the ski apres. Our stay was marred... More

We had lunch in bistro this week, and waited over an hour for quick meals. NOT GOOD ENOUGH!! We chose what we thought would be quick, but not so. It took several complaints to get our order. Other clients were also complaining. One man only ordered plates of chips and waited and waited and complained several times. The kids were... More

From the moment that we arrived till the moment that we left - we were pleasantly surprised at every stage of our weekend away. Justin on reception was exceptional - nothing was too much hassle (as was Lynette who assisted with the booking). Room with a balcony and mountain view is def worthwhile. Breakfast was excellent - hot and cold... More

Thredbo Alpine Hotel is in a great location for all Thredbo eateries and right across from the Kosci Express chairlift and ticketing centre, which we thought was brilliant. We have found ourselves in some out-of-the-way locations, so to be amongst it was a fantastic start to our Thredbo break. But it all took a decidedly downward turn when we walked... More

Really friendly staff in great location. The hotel is getting a little 'old' but is still comfortable with good facilities. The breakfast was awesome. Close to all Thredbo facilities, including bars & restaurants and only a short walk to Kosi express chairlift.

We spent two nights here and had a lovely time. As other reviews have said, the walls were quite thin, but the bed was comfortable so we slept fine. The staff were very friendly and happy to help out. The hotel is very well located in Thredbo–it made a great base for day walks. The breakfast was awesome: massive buffet... More

We stayed at this hotel in the last couple of weeks. We found the staff to be helpful and friendly. We had no problem with noise from other rooms and parking was always available. Breakfast was good but you need to get there early (before 9am) as the buffet is not regularly replenished thereafter. Had a good stay overall.

Had a random stopover here on our road trip and it didn't disappoint. As per many other reviews the rice are great but the walls do appear to be paper thin. Despite a superb, comfortable king bed we didn't have a great sleep as it was very windy and we we kept awake by most gusts. This aside, our stay... More

Dear hailsfromHighton, Thank you for taking the time to review our property. I am pleased that you enjoyed your stay overall. I am sorry to hear about the breakfast experience, with a buffet it is always quite difficult to maintain freshness, however we do try to ensure the quality is consistent at all times throughout the morning.
