Clean, good location, nice Buffett breakfast but dated and paper thin walls. We were kept awake at night by couple arguing next door , you could hear every word and you will know every time your neighbours go to the toilet. Small room but nice views of mountain

Our overall feeling was that while the rooms were on the smaller side they were well appointed and had everything we needed as well as a good view. We do believe however that noise suppression from other rooms could have been better. The people at reception were excellent and very helpful and very friendly. We did have a concern about... More

We spent an autumn weekend in the Snowy Mountains and found good reviews and good prices for this hotel, so we booked. It is an old mountain hotel, with a certain dated atmosphere, and has seen better days. It is constructed with a lot of wood which adds to the ambiance but makes for creaky floors... It is suitable for... More

Travelled from Sydney on Friday night for a long week end, arriving about 9pm. We found the parking area full and this was the case for most of the week end. Hunted around for quite sometime looking for something farly close, ended up dropping the bags and parking several hundred meters away. Not a good start to the week end.... More

This was a last minute booking on a busy weekend in Thredbo. The price was reasonable and the room clean. Although the motel is dated it was clean and staff friendly. The bathroom had a bath and shower. Complimentary toiletries as expected. The rooms were a little noisy, but not enough to annoy. It is very close to everything. Overall... More

This is a great property and is located across the road to the entrance of Thredbo Alpine Village ski lift. I got some help finding it with the Jindabyne visitor info centre. They used wotif.com to find a deal ( http://www.wotif.com/search/results?country=AU&region=1475 ). It was a pretty expensive place that I talked down from $149 to $139 because it was the... More

Brilliant location for summertime exploring, the Alpine hotel is a great location and friendly staff. The rooms are very very dated... But are functional. Looking for more modern accom for next visit. Pool not heated :( but good for 1 night:) breakfast was delicious :) :)

We stayed here for 2 nights in February 2014 (our second time in the year). The biggest plus for this hotel is it's friendly staff, from the check-in staff to the staff at Cascades restaurant, they are always cheery and friendly. The room itself is reasonable, it's an older hotel but the room was clean with a comfy bed. The... More

I stayed for a second time at Rydges Thredbo, and wound up in the same room. My previous review mentioned the confusing spa instructions (variously referring to gold and black buttons while the actual button was white) - this has not changed. The staff were friendly and helpful. One night I was there was somewhat busier than my previous out-of-season... More

Spent a weekend here in January with wife and two teenagers for a family occasion. The choice of the hotel rather than one of the many appartments was based on ease of booking and not needing to organise anything other than clothes and a toothbrush. We had a family room, a king with an adjoining twin. Nothing special, but nothing... More
