We book here every year as its a very convenient place to stay, but oh dear you are getting very tired. Dont think in the last 7 years there have been many improvements, although we loved the pool bar and live music in the afternoon. Great breakfast although the eggs should be changed sooner. Fried eggs were cold and hard... More

For a quick getaway to enjoy great snow we found the hotel very comfortable- if a little dated, with friendly staff, food storage for ski gear and great access to the lifts. We loved coming back to the après ski around the outside fire pits and enjoying a beer or hot cider. Only complaint was the breakfasts that were always... More

Practical rooms which are starting to get a little dated. Staff (reception, bar, restaurant and cleaners) were all very friendly and helpful. Great location in relation to the ski lifts and village square. Only disappointment was the amount of noise experienced in the room after lights out.

Of course, a wonderful location right in the village, easy parking out front. but as with other reviews, the noise insulation was non existant between the rooms. the rooms were quite small for that amount of money, although bed very comfortable and bathroom quite ok. Noise from people in the corridor and next door, normal noise, so hate to think... More

I know staying in Thredbo is expensive but you can definitely do better than this "hotel". To be fair the location is great just 4 min walk to the chairlift and they have a very decent buffet breakfast, but that's where it all ends We booked 2 rooms for 3 days and paid well over Usd300 per room per night.... If only they put some money in and did some sound insulation! The staff are lovely. The place is dated, and the rooms are small, but it's ok. It's very centrally located, and it's warm. I loved the pool (and even swam in it, with a beanie on, it's warm enough!) and the spa. I'd read the reviews about noise,... More

Admittedly we stayed here during Uni Week and so on both nights music was pumping from the bar and the walls are incredibly thin, you will hear just about everything your neighbours are saying. However, the hotel has a good location (near the free regular shuffle that runs to Friday Flat too), friendly reception staff and handy ski locks. The... More

We love this place, service, location, facilities top notch BUT THE DARN MUSIC. It starts late morning and goes at full volume for hours and hours and hours. It reverberates through every room and part of the hotel, there is no way of getting away from it. Even in the lounge it is piped in on speakers in every nook... More

I have visited this hotel 3 times in the last four years, each time during the ski season. My overall view of this hotel is that it is a very good hotel. It occupies the main part of a complex which forms the central hub of Thredbo which includes shops, cafes, restaurants and bars, some of which are also run/staffed... More

I love this hotel - having first stayed here when I was 6 yrs old - Im now 50. It has had many ups and downs over the years and I think it deserves a whole classification of its own. I hear its about to change management which would be a shame to a more groovy hotel operator which could... More
