Not a guest at this hotel so can't speak for the rooms but I was a patron at the Lounge Bar. Dropped in for a coffee and then into the lounge bar for a warm cider but when I asked for the wifi password got a point blank “No” Absolute poor form!

We had a group of four staying in two superior twin rooms. Checking in was super easy and quick, the reception staff were great and gave us all the information we needed. Upon arriving at our rooms they had even put an extra bed in per room so we had somewhere to lay out our luggage. The rooms are comfortably... More

Great location but that's the only positive. Our cosy, supreme room backed onto the pool and we were deafened by the base from the DJ every afternoon. It was impossible to stay in our very-dated room from 4-6pm. Our king size bed was comfortable but had a queen size doona and valance. There was no service on arrival. An overcrowded... More

We have stayed at the Thredbo Alpine Hotel a number of times over the past 20 years, including 2 overnight stays this season when the snow was good, and we decided to stay and ski another day. The ski storage and boot drying room open to the path to the village lifts, only a few minutes walk away. Most restaurants... More

Can't get any more convenient for skiers. Walk out hotel and across the road to ski lifts. Complementary ski stowage and use of drying room is a bonus. Close to restaurants and shops in thredbo village. Our rooms on the 1st floor were adequate but were noisy from 4-6pm from loud music at the ski apres. Our stay was marred... More

We had lunch in bistro this week, and waited over an hour for quick meals. NOT GOOD ENOUGH!! We chose what we thought would be quick, but not so. It took several complaints to get our order. Other clients were also complaining. One man only ordered plates of chips and waited and waited and complained several times. The kids were... More

From the moment that we arrived till the moment that we left - we were pleasantly surprised at every stage of our weekend away. Justin on reception was exceptional - nothing was too much hassle (as was Lynette who assisted with the booking). Room with a balcony and mountain view is def worthwhile. Breakfast was excellent - hot and cold... More

Thredbo Alpine Hotel is in a great location for all Thredbo eateries and right across from the Kosci Express chairlift and ticketing centre, which we thought was brilliant. We have found ourselves in some out-of-the-way locations, so to be amongst it was a fantastic start to our Thredbo break. But it all took a decidedly downward turn when we walked... More

Really friendly staff in great location. The hotel is getting a little 'old' but is still comfortable with good facilities. The breakfast was awesome. Close to all Thredbo facilities, including bars & restaurants and only a short walk to Kosi express chairlift.

We spent two nights here and had a lovely time. As other reviews have said, the walls were quite thin, but the bed was comfortable so we slept fine.
