So close to everything in Thredbo, and the caretaker is very nice and friendly. A short walk to the ski runs. Just wish the walls were thicker so you could sleep better at night as you can here people next door turn over in bed!

Read the reviews before I booked but there were no affordable other options. It's an older lodge, clean, comfortable, great kitchen. Living room with open fire is great. Shared bathroom really means no loo in the room but the bathrooms are each enclosed and private.

We grabbed the opportunity to head down to snow when they had a huge dump of snow end June. Booked Aneeki last minute & got a room for 2.its typical lodge life, yes the walls are thin, but after a day on the snow you are so tired everyone's asleep early. Great kitchen set up, a shelf in fridge per... More

I booked the family room for four nights at Aneeki during peak season for two adults and four kids so expected to pay a bit extra for a room that would sleep six but after experiencing this place even our rate of $600 a night felt too high. When we stopped on the road (there is no place to officially... More

Stayed at Aneeki in April 2013 primarily to do some mountain biking in Thredbo. We booked the family room but we were contacted prior to arrival to be informed that the room had been double booked. We were transferred to two rooms, which suited us (couple with older kids) better anyway, so no complaints there. I imagine it might get... More

Aneeki is a basic but well located, clean lodge near the centre of thredbo and close to the loop bus that takes you to the lifts. We enjoyed our stay but I wouldn't return unless I booked all 8 rooms. The walls are so thin you can hear every word or movement in the next room and unfortunately my kids... More

OK, so I expect to pay a bit over the odds for a last minute booking during high season for skiing. Not ideal, but hey...that's life. What I didn't expect was to be taken for such a ride. $350 a night is bordering on criminal for this place. Here is the description on Wotif.com: Comfortable triple room ,1double plus 1... More

If you are looking for a fun, value for money accommodation option in Thredbo then this is the place for you! My partner, myself and a friend stayed here last weekend. I think the cost worked out to be about $30 per night each and that included a continental breakfast every morning. The manager's, Daniel and Julie, were very friendly... More
