Lovely location. The views on the seaward side of the resort are awesome. Good sized room clean and comfortable. staff were friendly. Can't recommend the resturant however although it is not part of the resort. one meal of Salmon was very poor and staff had no ability to resolve the issue. Stay at the resort but find somewhere else to... More

Having booked our room over the phone I was pleasantly surprised when our confirmation was received that the quoted price had dropped by $70.00. We then decided to book an extra night and asked for a water view. The extra night was available but not the water view which was okay with us as we were going to be out... More

We stayed for 2 nights midweek & were very happy. After reading previous reviews I walked up to the check in with some trepidation, expecting to encounter the Soup Nazi from Seinfeld....... The girl who checked us in could not have been nicer-in fact, every time we walked through the reception area we were acknowledged by the staff with a... More

I don't think that this hotel is nearly as bad as people are saying.Yes many of the things are true, but PLEASE read these comments before you consider your stay. I have stayed here 3 times with my family over 3 years (and will stay again) and my experience has been similar every time. .. 1.Location is perfect for The... More

The start of the "experience" was confusing, as the parking facility, which is located in an adjacent building, cannot be accessed until cheeking in is complete and is an additional $15 ( very pricey for a backwater area of NSW). Reception was at best resembled a female version Basil Faulty with the attitude and efficiency of checking in. The rooms... More

Greeted by not 1 but 2 unpleasant front desk staff, went up the lift and found a dark corridor full of gyprock dust and stinking of paint fumes. Opened our room and it looked okay, a bit old but about 3 star quality... THEN we opened the balcony curtains to our 'view' a rusty building and a bin full of... More

I stayed and reviewed this hotel in sept 2007 and gave it a 4 star rating, this time i give it 1 star. Upon arrival we requested an ocean view room and were told there were none available (fair enough), instead they put us in a room facing a brick wall and nothing else. In addition this was a disabled... More

Admittedly when we found the place, the bf was furious with me for choosing it. It looks pretty shabby and really needs a paint job on the outside. Foyer was dimly lit and staff were polite but a little dismissive. Parking is $15 a day, or you can park in the Waldorf next door for free hahaha. Most tourists do... More

Travelled to the Central Coast for a wedding and found this place via Trip Advisor. Whilst there weren't too many negative comments I can tell you that this is a hotel that should be avoided at all costs. Their rates are the equivalent of a four star hotel and for this you get absolutely nothing other than the room. NO... More
