The 2 bed cabin we rented had been recently refurbished and was very clean and generally comfortable. Beds were a little lumpy and we missed having a dishwasher and washer/dryer (though the site does have laundry facilities which have to paid for) but I think it represented good value for money. We stayed in our caravan with an en suite site. It was clean and tidy. The park is straight across the road from the beach and walking distance to shops and eatery's. Loved our stay. More

Stayed here with another couple, we tried to get into Halifax Park however it was booked out. Shoal Bay Holiday Park it is and we were set up in 'Marlin St'. This spot it closer to Government Rd and unfortunately extremely noisy with traffic and people walking home from the Shoal Bay Country Club. I'm not one to be bothered... More

Stayed in a Safari Tent, and we had a great time. The tents were big, a bit like what Scouts or the Army uses. The queen bed was comfortable enough - much better than if you were really camping.
