The scala restaurant was great for breakfast and dinner, the staff friendly, good service, decent food, the eggs Benedict for breakfast were great. However the hotel felt quite dated, the bathrooms are small and have not been re-fitted for a long time, no double glazing so there was quite a bit of traffic noise which interrupted my sleep. it was... I have stayed in this property since the mid eighties when it was new. It has been much better in the past. The large rooms are pleasing, as is the layout, but time has taken its toll and failure to reinvest in the decor has devalued this once great hotel/motel. The hard beds and noise from the occasional un muffled... More

I found the price to be over the top for such a run down establishment. The room while tidy was old fashion but it did the job. It is need of a face lift in both rooms and dining hall. I loved the indoor trees in the dining area although the food is also over priced for the quality.

This small town country motel is just right for a quick stop over. While it is dated and need of some repair the room (21 family room) was spacious and clean as a whistle. We stayed as we had a family function nearby and it suited our needs completely two rooms, a kitchenette and little lounge area. Some broken tiles... More

Stayed here for one night on route from Queensland. The room badly in need of maintence. Curtains hanging off hooks, shower screen cracked. Bed very average. Dined in restaurant. Vegertarian options on menu not available. Staff very unprofessional.

Well this is a really wonderful place to stay. The location was excellent but just a little bit hard to find because couldn't able to see the sign till we got close to the motel. Driveway wasn't in a good condition but manageable. Room was bigger compare to the other motels we've been stayed before, and it was cleaned. Had... More

I have been staying here since 1990 and it is still the only place in the area that has off road setback, access for all types of vehicles, quality Samsung TV's and Daikin Split system Aircon systems ( note many use really cheap brands that are not high quality) Opposite McDonalds, 7-11 and Subway, it is convenient when travelling on... This really is a low grade motor inn. If you get it cheap, its Ok. Swimming pool was smelly with (duck?) Poo around the edges. The for was pretty ordinary and the kids menu inflexible. It was $ 16 for 3 courses. Our little one just had one course and we were charged $16. Rip off. Rooms big, inner garden... More

Thankyou for your review. In relationship to the pool , during this time a year we have an influx of wild bird life ,ducks, cockatoo's and galahs .It is extremely hard to stop them doing their dropping around this area. The council requires daily testing of water quality in all pools and spas where the public are concerned and we... More

I stayed here for work for a week and was quite disapointed. This was recommended as the place to stay in the Raymond Terace area, but it was not very good. The postive is it is set back from the road and quiet. The room I had was very large. The negative is it was quite untidy, poor service both... More

Hi John We definitely have a great location off the main highway. . I have looked into your complaint about your room not being serviced and found that you may have not been unaware but your DO NOT DESTURB sign was on your door the day in question. I do apologise for any inconvenience that may have caused you. .... More

We were turned away because we were travelling with our dog. There was one room left for $165.00, but we were turned away because the owner would not allow us to stay because our dog was with us. She has travelled extensively with us around NSW and stays in the back of our 4WD Pajero. We would normally stay at... More
