A great place to drop in for lunch when skiing Guthega side of Perisher ! Good food at good prices (for Perisher) served fast by friendly staff. Warm and toasty place to take a break for a meal or just a beverage. One of the best value venues on the mountain !!

The view from the front of this alpine inn is spectacular. I'm sure many worldly problems have been solved. The prices on the food & drinks menu unfortunately match the height of the mountain. The selection of drinks is adequate although not substantial. The food is OK, read good pub grub, but at restaurant prices. The service is hit &... More

Just returned from 3nights at Guthega Inn. Fom the prompt email replies when booking to accomodation ,dinner , b'fast and staff we could not have been happier. The hosts Jenny and Nick are approachable ,friendly and informative without being pushy. Nick went out of his way to ensure our ski trip with 3 kids was smooth. The food is nutritious... More

We stayed for 3 nights and couldn't be happier with all the facilities and courteous staff. Room was very comfortable, strong hot shower stream, plushy bed and pillows. View was amazing. Breakfast and dinner were marvelous. Owner was very helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend!

After reading a couple of reviews that weren't very positive we arrived with a sense of trepidation. Within 5 minutes of arriving we were made very welcome and this continued throughout our stay. We even extending our stay as we enjoyed it so much. Amazing views with great food and entertainment. We even enjoyed one too many reds one evening... More

Last week was the second week this winter, that I elected to stay at the Guthega Inn. Gourmet options exceeded expectations for special dietary requirements, hosts, Nick and Jenny are the consummate hospitality professionals - proactive, considerate and about maintaining standards, views fantastic and access to the snow so easy. Saving the lounges around the fireplace is another bonus for... More

I've been coming here for four years now - Summer and Winter. The Guthega Alpine Hotel is one of the best kept secrets in the Australian Alps. The village is sleepy - so if you're into loud bands and the lunatic syrup brigade staggering home at 3 a.m. this is not for you. If, on the other hand, you're into... More

I won 2 nights accom here and I stayed another three nights on top of that. Right from the get go, the owners make you feel very welcome. ITs well worth going out of the way to get to. Its like coming home everyday. Its a very small cosy place, with seated restaurant for breakfast and dinner, with a set... More

We recently stayed here for a week with two friends and were very impressed with the hotel amenities and location. We could ski in and ski out easily and the view from the hotel was lovely. The hosts were helpful and friendly and recommended a great restaurant when we wanted to go further abroad for our evening meal. The service... More

For years we have made the Guthega Pub our lunch destination and have had plenty of large groups of friends enjoying some red wine, a great meal and beautiful view. However this year has been a shocker. What have they done in the kitchen? The food is now terrible and the service doesn't exist. The Guthega Pub has turned into... More
