We have been skiing perisher for 30 years. Have been staying at the Marritz for years. This was the best year ever. Simone and Luke are great managers. Really friendly and helpful staff. Great food. Comfortable living areas. For us, we need a place that is going to make the before and after skiing experience easy (sometimes a challenge with... More

The Marritz is a bit tired, but is going to have some maintenance and upgrade over the summer. That said, we really enjoyed staying here. The food was so good, the service was great - the staff were happy to help and very attentive. The location is great, short walk/ski to the Skitube and the Perisher snow. Once it's been... More

$94 for two with main, desert (big), 1 wine drink each, mugacino(big). He had Trout, was super excellent with no bone playing. Two big pieces. She had Ratatoulle stew, polenta and those yummy turnip chips -delicious She really enjoyed the sweet mascarato wine. The sparkling semillion was a bit dry for me but very very bubbly bring an initial refreshing... More

Stayed at the Marritz in September 2013 and was pleased with the hotel. Rooms were quiet and the restaurant was pleasing, except a limited breakfast menu and "buffet".Conveniently located, just across the road from the main chairlift and a restaurant and mini supermarket. The pool and sauna were ordinary and if many are using the pool, it becomes crowded easily.... More

We stayed in the Rawsons Executive Suite. The suite was spacious and had great views of Perisher's ski slopes but we could hardly find any furnishings worth the value of the unexpected upfront "damage bond" they slapped us with upon arrival. Instead of advertised king bed, we found two single beds joined together into a larger bed. There were two... More

From the moment you walk in the Marritz you get a sense of the old world charm of a ski lodge from yesteryear. There was the usual wood panelling, original bar, warm fireplaces and fittings that have been there since the day it was built. All of this, along with the friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere made for a wonderful... More

We stayed at the Marritz a long time ago and have told friends about it over the years. Now we are embarrassed if they took up our recommendation. The oversnow transport was tiny, our luggage went into the back and we clambered in via the tow bar on top of it. The room was huge (Townsend) but empty of a... More

Our family of 5 had an excellent snow holiday here. I can't fault this place with its oldy worldy ski lodge charm, excellent meals, cozy atmosphere & delightful staff. The pool & kid's club as well as the vicinity to the slopes are those little extras that make a skiing holiday with small children a success. We are coming back... More

We just returned from 2 nights at Marritz. Staff were helpful and friendly. Rooms were clean and comfortable with great heating. Kids loved the kids play area, the proximity to the snow, the pick-up in the over-snow transport and the kids menu. Pool wasn't working when we were there but that would have sealed it for them. Restaurant dinner menu... More
