We have stayed at the man for several years now and this place feels like home from the very minute that we walk through the door. The service is excellent and all the staff make us feel very welcome. We also enjoy catching up with other regular guests, who like us, stay here every year. The convenience of the car... More

This was an impromptu trip for myself and my husband one weekend where we woke up and decided to go to the snow for the first time. While the snow didn't disappoint and we had a blast, the hotel unfortunately was an overpriced let down which probably caters more for families than anything else. Check in was pleasant enough and... Very good hotel, it has great views of the mountain and is only a short walk to the ski slopes. Good points include: great breakfast buffet, fantastic 3 course dinner each night (this changes each night so you get to have different food each night. Great seafood- salmon steaks, scallops, cuttlefish- all cooked well. Steaks, pastas etc. Bad points: about... More

Just wanted to say the service at this hotel is outstanding. Like a home away from home. Caz and her staff looked after us for a week and we were made to feel very special. It's so lovely to meet people at a hotel, who have been going there time and again, for years and years. We want to be... More

This was our first stay on the snow as a family. The Hotel has a great vibe - rooms are clean and comfortable. The real surprise was the quality of the food and the friendly professionalism of the staff. Caz, Oz, Astrid, Ellie, Luke, Laura and the others I have missed made the place feel like home - especially for... More

1. A great team of people committed to making your stay memorable. Customer service here is genuine which makes a stay at the Man a pleasure. Caz, Luke and Astrid and the team should all be commended for delivering first class service. 2. The location of the Hotel is perfect for its close proximity to lifts, ski tube and all... More

The staff at this hotel were amazing and always pleasant and eager to help. The rooms are not large and the bathroom is small but the bed is comfortable with great bed linen. Lighting in the room is terrible for reading but the heating is excellent and a welcome in the morning and night, the windows can be opened to... More

Spent a lovely two nights here with my partner for a great weekend on the mountain. Arrived @ 11am when check-in isn't till 3pm, they gave us access to their hotels underground carpark (the only hotel on perisher with private parking):) so we could hit the slopes early for the day. We walked up to reception & told our room... More

Hi Deanie, So glad you loved your stay at the hotel. Apologies for the buckets in the cocktail lounge. An order was placed with National Parks, over summer, to have our roof replaced, but unfortunately this was not approved in time to complete works before the ski season. As soon as the last guest has left after this season, the... More

Every year I find myself drawn to this bar near the base of Perisher Ski Resort. New management has made the outside area perfect for an afternoon session in the sun looking up at the mountains. Its family friendly and if its cold or snowing, sit inside to enjoy live musicians, crackling fireplace, and great atmosphere. Now open for lunch... More

We booked at the last minute and ended up paying top dollar, but what do you expect in a great season, and the general experience was excellent, especially the food. Two warnings however, if you want a shower in peak season, don't leave it too late at night as the hot water may run out! and on Monday nights (and... More

Hi Linsey Ann, We are not aware of any issues with our hot water over the season. It has never been mentioned to any of our front office staff. The majority of the hotel is on instantaneous hot water, so it should not run out. It would be great if you can drop me an email to let me know... More
