This is a nice park with cabins, drive-through sites and tent sites. We stayed in a cabin Opposite to the shop. It was a good size, clean and comfortable. One side of the bed was very close to the wall but it was manageable. There's a fossil museum in the park which was interesting and free. The shop was well... More

Just stay one night. Owners are very friendly and full of information. Ammenities are old but spotless. The grounds need a bit of maintenance. There is free entry to a fossilised museum. Overall nice park.

We arrived late this afternoon to be "greeted" by a lady who obviously hates her job. I thought- "that's ok" and off we went to our designated drive-through site. All good so far. The person directing travellers to their sites was directing one van from one side and the next from the other so we ended up with our right... More

Hi Wren5758. We are sorry to hear you did not enjoy your stay at our caravan park. The people we had managing it while we were away did a wonderful job it was unfortunate the day you arrived the lady in reception was very ill and this cause you to get the impression she hated her job. This is a good little park. Cheap too. $27. We also enjoyed the scones, jam and cream. Small but clean amenities. Good hot water. Slightly pokey outside the shower, but plenty of hooks and little shelves. Well lit amenities. Stools provided under the basins. Friendly lady in the office.

Good small park for over night stay. Has both grassed and crush rock drive through sites as well as normal sites. Staff are very friendly and helpful with afternoon scones provided. Amenities are ok. Park located in side street about 100 m. from main highway. However there is some night road noise.

We pulled in and were personally shown where to park our van. The staff were very friendly, and at about 4pm the owner came by each van offering freshly baked scones with jam and cream. he stayed for a chat before moving on to the next van to welcome its occupants as well. At 4.30 pm a retired school teacher... More

Stopped 3 weeks ago going down south. By chance we arrived and so glad we picked here. After getting settled a knock on the door with a home made welcoming scone jam and cream. A beautiful touch from welcoming owners. Great drive through sites. Amenities spotless, a must for me. Stop off at the local RSL for a great meal.... More

We have been travelling annually up and down the Newell Hwy for 10 years as part of the grey nomads going to Qld for the winter. We never miss staying with Leighton and Pauline at their caravan park in Peak Hill. They are a very welcoming couple, he puts you on your site and traditionally over all those years turns... More
