This is a good little park. Cheap too. $27. We also enjoyed the scones, jam and cream. Small but clean amenities. Good hot water. Slightly pokey outside the shower, but plenty of hooks and little shelves. Well lit amenities. Stools provided under the basins. Friendly lady in the office.

Good small park for over night stay. Has both grassed and crush rock drive through sites as well as normal sites. Staff are very friendly and helpful with afternoon scones provided. Amenities are ok. Park located in side street about 100 m. from main highway. However there is some night road noise.

We pulled in and were personally shown where to park our van. The staff were very friendly, and at about 4pm the owner came by each van offering freshly baked scones with jam and cream. he stayed for a chat before moving on to the next van to welcome its occupants as well. At 4.30 pm a retired school teacher... More

Stopped 3 weeks ago going down south. By chance we arrived and so glad we picked here. After getting settled a knock on the door with a home made welcoming scone jam and cream. A beautiful touch from welcoming owners. Great drive through sites. Amenities spotless, a must for me. Stop off at the local RSL for a great meal.... More

William J. Thank you for your feedback, it is rewarding to see that our efforts to make people welcome are appreciated. However our real reward is you the customers who are also so friendly and enjoy a joke and laugh along with us. Thanks Leighton and Pauline More

We have been travelling annually up and down the Newell Hwy for 10 years as part of the grey nomads going to Qld for the winter. We never miss staying with Leighton and Pauline at their caravan park in Peak Hill. They are a very welcoming couple, he puts you on your site and traditionally over all those years turns... More

Such a lovely clean tidy park, with easy drive through sites for caravans. Immaculate clean toilets, showers, laundry and camp kitchen BBQ. Owners are lovely and very welcoming. A super surprise treat was the owner comes around in the afternoon offering a free scone with jam and fresh cream ! YUM ! While here you need to check out the... More

We stayed at this park on a powered site in our caravan for two nights. Lovely large grassy sites with power & water. The manager was so friendly and helpful, he even guided us in to our site as he chose a shaded site for us which we needed to back into. (Most of the sites are drive through.) The... More

A welcoming overnight stay on our camper-trailer road trip from Brisbane to Melbourne. Very pleasant environment & friendly managers. Clean amenities. Would definitely return again in future - especially to explore the historic township. :-)

Wonderful owners very helpful and welcoming, their shop has all the little things needed by travellers. Just the thing for a one night stay. Clean and tidy a little aged but would stay again. Easy walk to Services Club for meals .

After reading the trip advisor reviews we decided to give this establishment a try. We have been driving past this place for 10 years or more and were unaware of it's existance. Very friendly and well appointed. The ammenities were spotless. The BBQ area looked great. Even heated floor in the shower rooms. The owners made us feel really welcome... More
