We stayed in a deluxe room for three nights. The furnishings in the room were modern and everything was clean and tidy. The room was serviced daily with the coffee and biscuits replenished which was great. The king size bed was very comfortable and huge and there were extra pillows and blankets in the closet. The staff were very friendly... More

This was a great place to stay for three nights while touring Port Stephens. The rooms were clean and the amenities were good. By replacing the old carpet in the room will make this eve more attractive. The manager and staff were very pleasant and keen to see that our stay was enjoyable. It is an easy walk to the... More

We stayed for 1 night in the very old section of the motel across the road. We chose the budget rate of $89 for the night. We didn't expect it to be very 'flash". But we did expect it to be cleN and comfortable, with basic necessities. The pool was empty. The room was clean, but everything was very old... More

Motel was decent, the room was clean and the shower/bathroom was no problem. Owners seemed friendly enough to help us heat our daughters meal for the afternoon as there was no microwave in the standard room we stayed in. Pool and spa was nice and clean. Plenty of car parking space provided. All in all had no issues with the... More

Was just passing through shoal bay and needed a place to stay for two nights at minimal cost. And came along this place. We were not expecting anything to flash, just a place to rest our heads. But in all factors it exceeded our expectations. The rooms are retro. But extremely clean and cosy. Plus there is a bar, restaurant... More

We stayed at the Peninsula Motel on Australia Day weekend, the rooms were very old and needs updating. We were awakened by the smoke alarm at 6.45am and it took the managers 45mins to turn them off because reception was unattended. Management was very rude and unhospitable.

We booked a 4 night stay in the "budget" motel rooms over the Xmas School Holidays. Although it looks a little old fashioned, I must say that the room was nice and clean, with air con, en-suite & pay tv (usual motel choices). The rooms were serviced every day (which, to be honest, at the price we weren't expecting) and the... Our last minute stay, in a room for four (double + sofa bed), was a nice surprise after some of the previous bad reviews. Everything was spotless, TV reception was excellent with some pay tv channels, our dinner in the motel restaurant was delicious with really hearty serves, and the pool/barbeque area was really nice. Little Beach is walking distance... More
