Well what a lovely surprise. We live locally and were looking for a nice venue to take son to for his 40th. My hairdresser who has her business kin Narooma gave the Whale a great rap and I can understand why. The service was great, with the wait staff ensuring our glasses were topped up with water/wine and cleared used... More

We stayed for one night. Good location, u have nice walks from there, the staff was welcoming and helping. The room is clean and has a nice balcony. Price is fair also. To the owner, if u read this: the room looks a little old, we suggest to give a little attention to the decoration and small details such as... More

We arrived at 5.15pm. They were anticipating our arrival and greeted us by name as we presented at Reception. They knew we had a dog. They knew we needed 2 rooms. The Unit was spacious, the bathroom was clean and the shower large enough to actually shower in!! Good water pressure too. We asked about eateries for our evening meal... More

This is our 4th stay at the Whale Inn and every time we are impressed. We were travelling with a group and booked 12 rooms. The rooms are very clean and modern. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of hot water and good shower pressure. Executive Suite 10 is very spacious with a lovely deck with water views.... More

Their were 5 of us staying overnight on our way back from Melbourne,we had a two roomed motel,as their were five of us staying, and had no choice as it was Anzac weekend, and most places were booked out,and we had nothing booked. Its the funniest set up i've seen. When you walk in their are two beds, then a bathroom in the middle, then the... Just had to write and say what a wonderful time I had at the Whale Motor Inn. I was hungry and tired when seated for my dinner. The service was outstanding as was the food. Probably the best Bloody Marys I've ever had - and I would know! The chicken terrine was perfect and the Angus steak was awesome. I... More

My friend and l spent a week here in an executive suite and the best thing was our view. OMG it was lovely to wake up to, and to have afternoon nibbles and dinner on our deck. Very nice to swim in the pool and read our books by the pool. The two girls that made up our room every... More

I stayed here recently and my work colleague and I booked an executive suite which from the outset was very reasonably priced especially due to the fact it was smack right in the middle of the summer holidays. The suite had a seperate bathroom and large bedroom and a wonderful sized living area with cooking facilities. The decore, leather lounges... More

We had not been to Narooma before so this was a bit of an unknown. However, the hotel was in a brilliant location with the beaches, bars and restaurants all within an easy walk. The views from our room were beautiful and the room itself was a good size. The only downside was that the restaurant was closed on Sunday... More

Stayed here for one night on our way from Melbourne to Sydney , with our 9 year old daughter and our friends . We booked a two bedroom unit, it was big enough, but only just with one bathroom between the bedrooms. That said it was our choice but with 5 people two units would have been better for us.... More
