we wanted a couple of days away and found these cottages near Narooma (NSW). They are fully self contained and are very comfortable. We had a 2 bedroom cottage and it was extremely spacey. Although it is a rural property, it is quite close to the beach (around 400 metres) and there are many short walks close by. The cottage... More

Lovely cottage, very private and well equipped. especially happy with the coffee plunger, wood fireplace and bird seed to feed the birds. Games room had toys and DVD's. Beach was just down a track and just beautiful! Very close to Narooma and Tilba. Very friendly and helpful, we went as a family with our three year old. Will stay longer... More

Mystery Bay Cottages are an old favourite and we were pleased to see their future seems assured with the enthusiastic new owners. Three things make it special. The cottages themselves are generous in size and comfortable, with the rooms (2 berdrooms, living room / kitchen, bathroom, toilet, lobby) private and seperate. The area of the cottages itself is appealing: tennis... More

The cottages were airy, spacious and well equipped. The location was within easy walking distance of two lovely beaches. We saw loads of birds, some wallabies and kangaroos. The owners were very friendly and helpful. We have 3 young children ages 4,6 and 9 we all loved it and the games room was perfect.

Home away from home. The cabins were so clean and equipped with everything. Two bedrooms one with 2 single beds and the other with a double bed. The bathroom was very spacious. TV, washing machine and kitchen had everything you need. Loved sitting on the front verandah just looking at the scenery. Bird seed left in the kitchen to feed... More

Booked for two nights and tried to stay longer but unfortunately no bookings available. Such a peaceful position and having the birds feed out of your hand is an extra bonus. Cabins very spacious and had everything required. We really did not want to leave.

Our experience was magical, the cabins are far enough away from each other, and with clever tree planting, you feel like you are the only people at the cottage. The owners/managers were friendly and helpful at every turn, a pleasure to deal with. You can sit on your deck facing the hills but still hear the ocean crashing onto the... More

We brought our six month old bub to mystery bay to get away from the frenetic pace and noise of sydney... boy did we got what we came for. The location is gorgeous, the cabins are well equipped, spacious and cosy, and the most gorgeous rozellas visit you right outside your cabin (careful they do bite!) To our amazement, our... More

There are so many details about this place which made me happy. It started as soon as we arrived, when hungry rosellas appeared on the balcony, hoping for a gift of bird seed. I loved this, because rosellas are generally really shy birds. It was a treat to see them close up. The details inside were thoughtful and generous. Toiletries... More
