from the moment we arrived ot was brilliant, easy going and stress free. met with the lovely Jeff who showed us to our cabin (which we had been so kindly upgraded to as a surprise for my boyfriends birthday). the cabin was private, gorfeous and spotless. we took the Canadian style canoe out on the water which was a total bonus.... We had 2 nights here as part of a 5-day cycling tour around the Byron Bay Hinterland and enjoyed our stay a lot. With Linda and Geoff as hosts, we couldn't have been more comfortable or welcome. I was glad that we were the only guests in the house which meant it was very quiet and we had the bathroom/toilet... More

I stayed in the wooden room, which is a bedroom in the main house. This place is one of the best I've ever stayed in and the only downfall was that I was only there for less than 24 hours. Great views, clean, a real traditional Queenslander house as well as the cabins and camp kitchen on site as well.... More

We booked to stay in the Yurt for one night and ended up staying four. Even in June we found it cozy and warm. The bed in the yurt was very comfortable with an electric blanket to keep us snug. Our host Linda was an absolute delight and one of the caretakes Kylie was wonderful. They made us feel like... More

We stayed just one night, but wished it were more. Having randomly selected this B and B because the apartment had 2 beds we found it to be very comfortable, clean and well furnished. Beds were great, one double and one queen slat bed both with good mattresses. A bonus was that Mavis's Kitchen was a two minute walk up... More

I recently stayed in the Alpine cottage for two nights and it was one of the best things I have done for myself for some time. Simple but clean and relaxing, the cabin provided everything I needed for a refreshing break. I would definitely stay again.

We booked all three rooms in the guest house for two nights over the weekend. The facilites were lovely, the rooms clean and beautifully furnished, and the hosts very friendly. The bed was very comfortable, and the air conditioner worked extremely well in our room. We enjoyed a lovely breakfast served on the verandah. We were attending a wedding at... More

We stayed 2 nights in the Alpine cottage and it was perfect. The bed was divine, especially after climbing Mt Warning! Every aspect from the windows and balcony was gorgeous. Great shared kitchen facilities but also a fridge and hot beverages in the room. Lovely and clean, great design and quiet as it is far from the main house. Excellent... More

Nothing really to add to other comments except that it is close to the Uki/Kyogle road so during the day there is a lot of traffic and some people might notice it. Managers were very pleasant and the rooms clean. The cabins have no access from a car, so you have a short walk to them. There is a very... More

We stayed one night in the Yurt when we went down to look at a property for sale. The yurt was far more comfortable than expected, with a huge amount of space and more robust construction than I had expected. Even my husband, who was skeptical about staying there, was pleasantly surprised. The shared bathrooms weren't amazing, especially after dark... More
