We chose to stay at Lyrebird Motel for a night whilst visiting the area. We chose an upstairs interconnecting room as we traveling with our 2 sons. The rooms were clean and comfortable and of reasonable size. The ground were tidy and off street parking was a plus. Close to the shops, IGA around the corner should you need a... More

Coming from Darwin it is always a treat to rest and relax at the Lyrebird. Di and Rick are very easy going and friendly. Close to shops, cafes and RSL for easy dinner option. I have stayed many times (single woman traveller) and will do again. I usually go over to Brunswick Heads on the coast and inland to Crystal... More

Basic, but very clean and comfortable. The manager was friendly and we were able to request the room we wanted, with an extra bed for our son. The location of this hotel is perfect, just around the corner of the Main Street in Mullumbimby, therefore so close to the coffee shops and funky boutiques. My favourite coffee shop...the Empire Cafe was... More

We stayed here for one night due to the good reviews on Tripadvisor. The room was basic and a bit noisy in the morning but clean. Unfortunately, we didn't experience the managers to be helpful or interested. The WiFi key they provided us with didn't work and when they saw us smoking a cigarette in their designated smoking area behind... More

This is a clean and family friendly country motel backing on to the RSL Club. The managers are friendly and very helpful. We stay here whenever we come to the Byron Bay Bluesfest and its perfectly located for that. The only negative is that being close to the back of the club there is some noise in the mornings (8am)... Great little motel, operated by two lovely people - Di and Rick - who provide excellent customer service to their guests. Very central location, and it's close to other nearby popular tourist spots (Byron Bay, Brunswick Heads, etc).

This was the first time we had stayed here. The room was clean, apart from the floor drain in the bathroom, and we had all we needed for a short stay. The room was quite small. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Close to the RSL for a meal.

Booked last minute for this online. This is an old hotel - think 80's decor and styling. That aside the staff were super friendly check in was very easy. I had an upstairs room - has everything you need for a overnight stay. Yes it is basic and not fancy but is a good price. If you are not planning... More

This motel is well located with easy access to the main shopping area. It was clean and bright inside with comfortable beds. The TV was an updated to a digital flat screen. Although there was a little noise from music and cars at the neighbouring RSL club things were pretty quiet from 11 or 12 onwards.
