stayed here 18 months ago, owner still looking to sell and seems desperate now. Trees banging on the roof all night, Receptionist not switched on. Trucks almost driving through the rooms all night in the south section. Value for money just Ok but never take the chance again

Very ordinary non welcome to my stay at Poplars Motel. No milk in fridge, husband had to go and ask for some. No biscuits to have with a cuppa. Am staying two nights but as I travel to Mittagong regularly I thought that I would give this motel a try. It is quite expensive for an ordinary experience. My husband... More

Thank you for your feedback. Apologies for the lack of milk and biscuits in your room. This is a rare occasion. The Housekeeper involved have been advised, and will closely be monitored. We have unlimited free wifi. I investigated your concern and found that there was indeed bad weather (typhoon) in the area during your first night stay, and has... More

We stayed here recently and only paid $109 a night. Having travelled from SA over the past couple of weeks I feel free in saying this motel was by far and away the best value for money we've experienced in our travels. The room was quite large with a lovely balcony overlooking manicured gardens. The room was very clean and... More

Cannot comment on quality of rooms as we were never afforded the chance to stay here. Last April, my fiance and I booked nine rooms for our friends and family to stay in for our wedding (a year in advance, as it is a very busy time of year) only to have our reservation cancelled 10 weeks out in favour... Dear Valued Guest, We are the new owners of the property and we only started in Nov 05, 2014, and therefore was not fully aware of what happened to your booking way back in April 2014. I rang other properties for you and have reserved the last rooms available for you in our property. I will be in touch by... More

The rooms are small but ok for one night. The bed was comfortable but the sheets were stiff and hard. The traffic noise didn't bother me but it was quite loud I didn't realise It was so far from town centre It is in an industrial type area Would probably not stay again

Our rooms are spacious, I am curious as to what you consider small. We have a lot of repeat guests and in fact, the smallest queen room we have is the most sought after room by repeat clients as they find it cozy. My apology about the linens. Our linens are outsourced. It is a rare occassion that they would... More

Stayed here over the Australia Day weekend with friends. Rooms were clean and spacious and the beds were comfy. There is a BBQ area which came in very handy for our Australia day festivities. The new owners are lovely to deal with and friendly, making you feel at home. Considering they have only been in the job since early November,... More

We arrived for a couple of days R & R - the manager's reception was bland offering very little to nothing re information - breakfast or other facilities not mentioned at all. The room whilst comfortable was noisy - hearing cars on the gravel driveway late into the night, highway noise and also noise from surrounding rooms including a toilet... More

The manicured gardens along its massive driveway , scenic n majestic trees, the cool breeze coming from the French doors in all units n inviting... More

Newly refurbished room very comfy - fairly quiet when you realise how close main road was - toilet seat very colourful. Sadly previous occupants had taken all the toilet paper, emptied the tissue box and the teaspoons. Why do people do this? When I told the manager he immediately replaced the missing items. We drove back into town to the... More
