The wandarrah lodge is located just 100 m to the truly beautiful beach! The lodge is amazingly clean and a perfect place to relax. During my stay I met really nice and lovely people and had a great time with them. The kitchen is large and clean aswell. Last but not least the staff is very friendly and helpful !

This YHA was fairly empty (about 12 of us) there but no doubt it will fill up over summer as it is only 50m to the main beach. I had a private room but with the numbers could have had a dorm to my own. Beds are basic but you pay for what you get. It would be nice if... More

As a family of five, we were looking for a quick overnight spot on our way to Canberra from Melbourne, and this place suited our budget, and had good reviews. We arrived after official closing, but a quick buzz found our host Wayne coming down quickly to help us settle in. We had booked the family room with adjoining bathroom.... More

This YHA is in a great location, very close to Merimbula's Main Beach. The hostel is spotlessly clean, spacious and well equipped. The hosts were very accommodating, and made my life a lot easier by shuttling me to the coach stop at 7am when I left (for a fee of $5). My only grumbles were a slightly regimented feel to... More

nice YHA, the room was basic (twin) but with enough space, beds were ok, foam mattresses felt like they could do with being replaced. The place was very clean in general. Nice kitchen area. The place is minutes walk from the nearest beach and a 10minutes walk from the town centre. There is also a lovely board walk to do... More

I was originally only going to stay a week or so as I am travelling around the country. I arrived in Merimbla on my third day of driving after getting off the boat from Tasmania - that was in February and I have only just moved on last week, early July! I was told about the hostel at the info... More

We chose this location because it was a nice stop to rest heading south on the long way between the two capital cities. Nice place to stay, wide and well equipped kitchen (shame on the ones who stole our milk from the fridge!) Get up early in the morning and run to the very close beach to catch the sunrise... More

Things began promisingly. We'd booked months earlier and when the week came there were flood nearby and we thought we'd have to go a Different route. They were accommodating about us adjusting our dates and then readjusting. That was very nice. When we arrived it seemed ok, the guy never mentioned we had to pay a key deposit or fix... More
